As novelty tabletop vacuum cleaners go this has got to be right up there with crappiest strangest, the Black Sheep crumb buster.
So next time you make a mess at the table you can pull out the sheep and suck up the spillage, and if using a sheep seems a bit strange you could opt for the novelty pet pig vacuum instead.
You can get your own sheep or pig from Amazon for £4.97, or when I looked you could buy the pig and sheep together (in case 2 people make a mess at the same time) for a special price of £9.94 (wow!).
This Polaroid takes no pictures
January 18th, 2007 by Edwin in Audio/Video Gadgets
Everybody has heard of the Polaroid brand, but unfortunately the company went bust some time ago and sold off its business. Now, the only valuable thing about Polaroid is the name licensing and branding, but those are some powerful weapons when you think about it. Why do you think iPod after iPod is flying off the shelves despite the presence of other portable media players which offer way more functions and a better interface are available at a cheaper price? Don’t be surprised that this Polaroid does not take any photos, as it is actually a portable media player. We will be taking a look at three models today, namely the MPA-20011, MPA-28216, and the MPA-43315.
WowPen offers ergonomics and protection against bacteria
January 18th, 2007 by Edwin in PC Gadgets, USB Gadgets
Ergonomics play a very big role in product design these days as computer users these days have wisened up and want something that not only functions well but look good simultaneously. The mouse has been a subject of many a streamline process, but the WowPen is definitely one of the more bizarre routes when it comes to design. This unique pointing device looks more like a joystick instead of your regular mouse, but the company claims that this design is meant to reduce the effects of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (note the word reduce and not eliminate).
New Panasonic Laptops - Y5, T5 and W5
January 17th, 2007 by Tiago in PC Gadgets, Tech News
Yesterday I talked about the Vaio laptops which will be Windows Vista ready and available on January 30, the topic today turns to Panasonic and their new made-for-vista machines. Lets start with the best one, Panasonic Y5:
It comes with an Intel Core Duo L2500 processor @ 1.83GHz, which is like the triple of the performance of my old laptop. The display screen is SXGA and measures 14.4-inches – the biggest of all the new 3 notebooks, which consequently means that it is also the heaviest @ 1.49Kg. In terms of battery, the Y5 can hold up to 8 hours and a half without needing the support of a recharge or electricity.

Aquaclimb lets you rock climb in your pool
January 17th, 2007 by Mike in Home Gadgets, Toys
In case you’ve been to busy to venture outside, it’s getting pretty cold out. It is Winter after all, and it tends to get cold that time of year. So, I figured, what better time to introduce an insanely awesome pool gadget. Yep, unless you’ve got an indoor pool with a nice, high roof, you won’t be using your brand new Aquaclimb for a few more months. Hah!

Oh Mr. Roboto, I see you there, shakin that,,
January 17th, 2007 by Fred in Miscellaneous Gadgets, Robot Gadgets, Tech News
Sure, you’ve wanted a suit to make you so strong you could punch through the hulk while looking cooler than the Fonz. Well, it’s closer than you think (not the ‘cool as the Fonz’ thing, the other one, you’re still a geek).
Anyhew,,,
It’s the Exoskeleton Olympics!! It happens every four years, for the first time ever, and it’s,,, riveting!!! Get it,, cause rivets are used to connect parts, and,,, never mind. (second vid ‘warm ups’)
Anyway
Yet another sweet exoskeleton batch has dropped lately. If you are like me, and desire to see weaklings leg press a small house with nothing but wires, steel, their brains, and a small amount of muscle power, then you are in for a treat!
Conan iPhone Commercial
January 17th, 2007 by methodshop in CES 2007, Mobile Phones, iPod gadgets
Apparently Steve Jobs was holding back at last week’s Macworld Expo. Apple’s new iPhone can do a lot more than just play music, movie and make phone calls.
As you can see from this video, the research staff at Late Night with Conan O’Brien were able to uncover all of the iPhone’s features including camera, movie player, remote control, electric razor…
