HTC Wildfire introduced
HTC seems to be playing out a balancing act between Windows Mobile smartphones as well as handsets that are powered by the Google Android operating system, but lately the company seem to be trending more towards the latter with a slew of Android phones rolling out, while Windows Mobile has taken a backseat. This could be due to the fact that Windows Phone 7 isn’t out just yet for the masses to consume, so HTC might as well make the best out of the entire situation by releasing phones that folks want to look at, right? Their latest attempt is known as the HTC Wildfire, where it is another HTC Sense-based Android phone which will integrate the most popular social networks, following in the footsteps of the HTC Desire while ensuring its signature HTC Sense experience remains accessible to a younger demographic.

Sanyo readies PDG-DWL2500J ultra short-focus projector with 3D Ready capability

Sanyo is working hard around the clock to roll out the PDG-DWL2500J, its latest ultra short-focus projector that features the ability to handle stereoscopic 3D – isn’t that what everyone seems to be trending towards these days? Boasting an extremely compact design that measures around half the size of a standard projector model, this one can project large images from an ever decreasing distance, and we do hope that you have 3D-capable playback devices to hook it up to. After all, what’s the point of having such a capability when there are no movies of your choice to go along with it, eh?
Roller Buggy raises safety concerns
My Source states that this Roller Buggy could be a bad idea, and I’m not certain. As someone who has a lot of log time pushing a baby or two around in a stroller, I could use something to make it easier.
I guess the worry is that having an adult parent scoot their baby about brings up a lot of safety issues. I suppose that is why this is a concept for now.
I mean, they have those streamlined strollers with the three wheels that go along with the fluid motion of a bicycle. Why not combine a baby stroller, which usually are with clunky big wheels, into something like a skateboard?

Kevin Costner is trying to prevent Oilworld
I suppose that words are insufficient to describe the environmental damage of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico that is still going on.
I’ve heard a lot about all the failed attempts to fight the spill, but there is a machine that can supposedly extract 97 percent of the oil from the water.
This machine is being promoted by none other than Kevin Costner. Apparently the actor is quite the environmentalist, and he has been funding this particular project for about 15 years with his brother.
I have included a video after the jump so you can see the actor who portrayed Elliot Ness, Robin Hood, and various other roles claim that he has a device that can clean up the 200 gallon a minute problem.

Penthouse Cell Phone Watch
According to the Chinavasion website, the Penthouse is the world’s smallest super cell phone.
Okay. Clearly, super cell phones must be bigger than I thought. I’m assuming that the iPhone isn’t a super cell phone.
But enough about that. So what is on this? How about a 1.5 inch touchscreen, full native quad band functionality, Dual SIM card slots, and it is fully unlocked for use of any network of choice.
Other features include Bluetooth connectivity, and it includes a free Bluetooth earset for handsfree communication. It also comes with a “complete multimedia center” that includes a camera, image viewer, video recorder, video player, audio player, sound recorder, and FM radio. Other features include “PDA tools” like a calculator, calendar, and alarm.

Not Your Grandfather’s Pocket Watch

Usually you picture a pocket watch and it’s something slipped inside of an elderly man’s pocket. This is definitely not that kind of a pocket watch. This Kisai Round Trip Pocket Watch is better suited for those that like flashing LED lights and random USB gadgets. This isn’t attached to a chain either, but it can be easily hooked onto other items to make transporting it more convenient.
