by Liam - on August 10, 2006

Calorie and Heart Rate Watch
If you want an easier way to monitor your workout without having to be draped in all kinds of wires, this watch could be the perfect thing for you. There are no wires required and you don’t even have to have it taking your heart rate while you’re working out.

When you get the watch you tell it some information which is stored in the watches internal memory. You tell it your age, sex, and weight. It also records the time you registered that information so it can update your age accordingly.

Walking Mario Characters

by Liam - on August 10, 2006

Walking Mario Characters
This is more of a novelty gadget than anything. These walking Mario characters are small remote controlled characters from Nintendo’s Mario games which can walk, run, turn left and right as well as make some neat little sounds.

The coolest thing about these characters is that they are controlled by controllers which look like the old Nintendo controllers. You can pretend you’re playing a real-life version of the old Mario games!

Each one goes for $16.90 and you can order one from Toys.brando.com.hk.

Coby TF-DVD8500

by Mike - on August 10, 2006

Coby 8500A lot of people haven’t heard of the electronic manufacture Coby, but they have been around since 1990. Coby produces a wide range of electronics, from security cameras to portable DVD players, the latter being what I’ll talk about here.

The Coby TF-DVD8500 has a swiveling 8.5” TFT screen, useful for the back of a headrest (mounting bag included), or on an airplane in those cramped coach seats. It plays just about everything: DVDs, CDs (including CD-R and CD-RW), MP3, and JPEG. The player also has built in stereo speakers, but I’m pretty sure that most users will just pop a pair of headphones in.

Bluetooth-enabled jacket The Flame 5 Bluetooth-enabled jacket is for those who need a more discreet way to receive calls and messages. Vibrate mode just isn’t enough for some people.

The jacket heats up a certain spot depending on the person whom the incoming message is from. That’s pretty much all of its functionality.

by Liam - on August 9, 2006

LintEater - Clean Your Dryer Vents
Your dryer’s vents will eventually build up lint inside of them, and an excess of lint in the vents can become dangerous if it begins blocking the airflow through the vent which could cause a fire. With the LintEater Dryer Vent Cleaning System, however, you get all of the parts you need to start cleaning out your vents.

The kit is very compatible with just about any dryer whether it has metal, foil, or vinyl vents. There are many different attachments and brushes as well so you can use the ones that are most effective for your situation.
