The Hello Kitty HD-TV soon to be found in Japan

by Ally - on June 24, 2008

I swear, if there is some kind of hostile takeover and the world ends, at the root of the problem will be Hello Kitty sitting in pretty pink.  I’m not sure what started my deep and true hatred of all things Hello Kitty, so I fully admit that it is entirely random and not at all logic based.  The more hilarious part is that I know I’m not the only one bad about disliking all that is Hello Kitty.  My theory is, anything that has taken over the world as quickly as Hello Kitty has must be evil, especially if it appears innocent.

C. Crane Calamity Kit

by Mark R - on June 24, 2008

I think we all need to be prepared for emergencies, especially when it comes to power outages. You don’t want to be the unlucky guy in a blackout, unable to find batteries for the flashlight or the radio.

This is why you should purchase the three-piece Calamity Kit from C. Crane. All three of these devices included in the kit are wind-up powered, and very valuable in an emergency.

The first item is the Sherpa LED Flashlight, which requires no batteries, and will give a lot more light to a dark area than a candle.

The second item is the Indigo Lantern, an electric lantern which can really light up a large room. It also has a tiny light on it designed for spot lighting, and, like the Sherpa, requires no batteries.

Knight Rider GPS from Mio

by Mark R - on June 24, 2008

I believe that we have covered Mio GPS products before, such as the Moov 310 and the C720t. Mio’s latest GPS is more than just your average upgraded GPS with a new number.

No, Mio has developed a new GPS based on none other than Knight Rider. It seems like an obvious marketing plan to model a GPS after this show. After all, Knight Rider introduced us to K.I.T.T., the car that talks back, and GPS units have been talking to people for quite some time now.

The Robot USB keychain promises not to dominate mankind

by Ally - on June 24, 2008

Robots are definitely one of those things that tends to get lots of love in the geek world, well this little guy is perfect for all robot loving geeks. I have to admit, I too get sucked into loving all things robotic, which means I find this guy adorable. Especially with the cap being a little helmet for him. The best part has to be the flexible arms holding the cap, because that way you will never lose it.

Motorola Motozine ZN5

by Edwin - on June 24, 2008

Motorola has been in a decline for quite some time already, as the world generally suffered from an overdose of all things RAZR. In fact, the company has suffered much until word has it that they might even sell off the cell phone unit if things do not continue to improve. Hopefully Motorola will do it right with the Motozine ZN5 cell phone – the latest release from Motorola. This time round, they have a formidable ally in the form of Kodak, joining forces to provide a high quality phone and camera experience to further bridge the ever narrowing gap between a cell phone and a digital camera. Granted, you won’t get all the bells and whistles of a dedicated digital camera, but this one sounds (and looks) much better than any other entry-level digital camera.
