Wheelchair boasts a jukebox
Most wheelchairs get along just fine with four wheels and an occupant, but this one is radically different. Crutchfield has a new grand prize winner for its “You Dream It, We’ll Help You Built It” contest, and the award goes to Eric Jarnagin and his souped up wheelchair – definitely one of its kind in the whole wide world. You get a subtle green glow around the wheels which translate into a mobile lightshow that grooves to the beat emanating from a formidable speaker set up which consists of an amplifier, speakers and subwoofers. The main music storage device of choice? A 160GB iPod. Now is this ever a wonderful street attraction or what.

Ascom Wireless releases new i75 Messenger
Ascom Wireless Solutions has just increased their WiFi portfolio by unveiling a new handset known as the i75 Messenger. This could not come in a more timely manner as the use of WiFi is growing at an unprecedented rate, in part due to freeing us from the shackles of a wired environment, which is always a plus point in my book (provided the drawbacks aren’t too impractical to deal with, of course). What does the i75 offer on paper? Well, for starters, it “combines advanced messaging and highly versatile telephony as well as push to talk capabilities. Built to support Professional Messaging, this handset is uniquely quipped to communicate with a comprehensive range of external sources, including building management systems, hospital systems and production process systems.”

Air-Conditioned Bed Cushion Keeps You Sweat-Free

Summer just keeps getting hotter. Even Spring brought some temperatures in the 100s this year. If you’re content laying in bed with the sheets sticking to your sweaty body with nothing but a glass of ice cold water to keep you chilled, then by all means, go for it. But some of you surely can’t sleep unless your room is properly air conditioned.
The Air-Conditioned Bed gadget turns any bed into a cool place to rest your feet. Super quiet dual fans at the top of this special bed-covering cushion pulls cold hair from behind your head and circulates it thorugh out the device. This method keeps the Air-Conditioned Bed, and as a result, you, cool for the rest of the night.

Flo N’ Go Duramax Makes Stealing Gas Easy
Gas prices worldwide are out of control. In the U.S. prices recently peaked above $4/gallon. Relative to the rest of the world these prices are even considered wimpy in comparison. It’s no question that oil is on its way out as the major fuel commodity. It can only maintain its lasting power for so long. Eventually people are just going to get fed up with the prices, possibly even before the reserves run dry.
The Flo N’ Go Duramax is a portable 14 gallon gas can and fuel siphon which dispenses gas without any spillage or pesky flammable gas leaks. You can use the Flo N’ Go for much more than automobiles. Any gas powered gadget or vehicle can be filled or emptied with the Flo N’ Go Duramax’s siphoning system.

Web 2.Oh Yeah!
I’m as guilty as everyone else. I’ve tasted the artificial fruit flavor of the Web 2.0 Kool-Aid and I loved it. I’ve evangelized every new service and site into oblivion. I’ve knowingly touted a service which I knew had no lasting power in this world of tech start-ups. I’ve been thoroughly tempted by the snake of the Internet garden of knowledge and taken a bite out of the Web 2.0 apple.
When tech observer and PR visionary Steve Rubel wrote an article back last fall titled “The Web 2.0 is Skunk Drunk on Its Own Kool-Aid“, I doubt he knew how much of an impact it would have on tech culture. How much of a lasting shock wave it would cast through the world of the new tech evangelism movement. In fact, the article had so much of an influence that there is now a T-Shirt to accompany the article’s premise.

Deer puzzles to stump you
I don’t really get the whole thing about deer hunting in modern times, but I do understand where Robin Hood came from back in the medieval age as he and his merry men needed to stay alive so that the poor have a fighting chance. Instead of participating in that sport today, why not take a more peaceful route with the deer head puzzle? Available in various configurations, this unique jigsaw puzzle uses recycled cardboard that were laser cut so that they can fit into each other without any hassle. Perfect to build up that trophy collection without shedding a single drop of blood. Depending on the type of cardboard puzzle, you will have to fork out anywhere from $14 to $46.

USB Hub Notebook Light

Even if the summer season means we get a few hours of extra sunlight, us night owls are still left in the dark, season after season. While most of us geeks are extremely smart when it comes to mindless trivia and gaming, we lack the common sense it takes to survive doing the things we love. Case in point, we stay up all night, yet forget to buy a notebook with a backlit keyboard.
Of course we could buy an actual desk lamp, at least those who remember to pay their electricity bill can. But what if we just like chilling in the total darkness with just a faint light illuminating our keyboard? Not only does this USB Hub Notebook Light appeal to our fear of total darkness, but also provides us with four extra USB ports, clipped right to the top of our notebooks.

Lukid Kids’ PC

If there’s one thing parents don’t mind spending on their kids, it would be education. Of course, health comes first, but getting a good education is of utmost importance no matter which part of the world you’re from. With the introduction of classroom PCs by Intel, it makes perfect sense for Daewoo Lucoms to jump onto the bandwagon with its low-cost education-use mobile computer equivalent known as Lukid. It has the Intel Celeron 900MHz processor running at the heart of things, powered by Windows XP. The 9″ LCD display, 512MB RAM and 30GB hard drive round off the list of specifications. Lukid is tipped to retail for slightly more than $500 in Korea.
