UberOrbs

These little gadgets will keep you busy for hours. You will not have any more boring times while you are just sitting around with nothing to do if you have these guys sitting on your desk.
Many people sit around and doodle on paper while they are talking on the telephone or even while watching television. The reason is they need something else to keep their mind busy. Yes, many people can do more than one thing at a time and these UberOrbs will help keep their mind active and busy.
UberOrbs are magnetic stones that are made from hematite which are more than mere magnets. These magnets are great for compulsive people or someone that just enjoys fiddling. If you pull them apart, they make a “zoing” sound when they quickly join back together. You can throw them into the air and they will zing back together again. You can even hold one in your hand and spin the other one around in all kinds of patterns on your table or desk.

Play Golf get Drunk

I know a fair few golfers and I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this is one of their clubs. [tag]Golf[/tag] can be a pretty boring walk which liquid refreshment can only enhance. But as some clubs have strict rules about supping on the green you may need a smuggling device, which is were the Electronic Drinks Caddie may come in handy.
Shaped and sculptured like a traditional 5 iron this drink container holds up to 54 oz of your favourite tipple. They say it can hold hot or cold drinks but I think we know the type of drinker this product is aimed at. This means you no longer need to wait till the 19th hole to relieve the boredom of golf (though when I have the spare time to play I wouldn’t be surprised if I get addicted to the game and will never abuse it again):).

Fork Sculptures

I’m not the most arty of people and I’m often amazed at what people can do with just a few bits of colored chalk. When I came across this site showing sculptures made from good old fashioned dinner forks I was pretty impressed.
There are various pieces, conveniently sorted into different sections (Animals, Band, Humanic, Jewelry etc.) with prices starting from $10 (the most expensive I saw was the Grim Reaper at $1000). They’re pretty unusual pieces to have on your mantle peice and must be a conversation starter, Uri Geller eat your heart out.

Soy Sauce Dispensing Chop Sticks

I’ve never really mastered chop sticks, and usually find myself resorting to a fork or fingers when I visit the local Chinese. However these chop sticks with built in soy sauce dispenser may make me try to be a bit more patient with these eating implements.
You’ve got to wonder how somebody comes up with an idea like this. I can imagine a couple of blokes enjoying a sushi when the following conversation occurred:
Bloke 1: Pass me the soy sauce mate
Bloke 2: Hold on I’ll have to put my chop sticks down while I reach over for it
Bloke 1: Cheers mate, wouldn’t it be good if we had a bottle of sauce each?
Bloke 2: Yeah that would be great, hey I know what would be better: Soy Sauce dispensing chop sticks
Bloke 1: Wow man, you should invent them and make a million
I wonder if that’s how it happened

Designer LCD TVs

It didn’t seem that long ago when LCD TVs were the new expensive in thing but like most technological advancements it doesn’t take long for them to become common place. For LCD manufacturers to make their TV the one to own they need to compete via quality, features or price. However the company Hannspree is taking a different approach and is selling what I can only describe as novelty / designer LCD televisions.

Whereabouts Clock

Now every parent of a teenager will want this one invention in his or her home. The whereabouts clock will let you know where every member of your family is at all times. Great idea, uh?
If you have seen any of the Harry Potter movies or read any of the books then you must have heard about the Whereabouts Clock. Its inventor Abigail Sellen believes that it would serve its purpose better in the home environment but others also believe it would be great for executives. Then the boss would know where his or her employees are and at least have some kind of idea of what they were doing such as the real reason they had to miss work or were late for work.
As for me, I think it would also be great for home, you would know exactly what time to start dinner, if your children skipped school, or if your husband really had to work late.

The flimsy clock

Out of Tokyo comes the news that a Japanese watchmaker has created the flimsiest clock in the world. This is not only the flimsiest digital clock to be created in the world but also the thinnest. It is as thin as camera film and can be bent to attach to the curve of a wall.
This cool gadget is only three millimeters or .12 inches thick and can be seen from sharp angles, on foggy and rainy days or in bright sunlight.
This is one of the best clocks designed for walls of buildings, round pillars that you see in train stations or at malls. This way anyone will just be able to glance up at this giant flexible clock and know what time it is.
