NOOO L33T Scrabble

by Al

L33T Scrabble
I’m not a big fan of l33t speak, actually that’s a bit of an understatement as I absolutely hate it. But for those who are, these L33T scrabble tiles make the game even more nerdy.

You can now play Scrabble with inane childish like spelling which normal people will find really difficult to read and it’s kind of impossible to get challenged for the spelling as it’s not in the dictionary any way.

If you fancy making an educational mockery of the game Scrabble you can get your own L33T tiles from 7h1Nk g33k

The iPod Nano iKitty

by Al

Nano iKittyShockingly we’ve not seen any new iPod stuff for the last few days so were pleased to see yet another Nano case has been released, the Nano iKitty.

As you can probably guess from the name (just in case the picture never gave it away) this holder looks like a cat. You insert your Nano up the cats read end (ouch) and can then rub it’s belly to change tracks etc. Other special features include 4 legs, 2 ears and a really useful bendable kitty tail

Available from Think Geek for the serious cat lover.

A Cool Beerbelly

Beerbelly Kit
At last beerbellies are cool, thanks to The Beerbelly beverage container.

The Beerbelly site explains how it works:

Now you can take up to 80oz. of your favorite beverage wherever you go… Even where “they” don’t want you to!

The Beerbelly is made up of a neoprene “sling” and a polyurethane “bladder” with a tube for dispensing. The bladder is held in an insulated pouch in the sling which is worn under your clothing for concealment. When worn, it looks just like a beerbelly.

Cardboard Box Speakers

Cardboard Box Speakers
I’m not too sure what the point of these is but they still look pretty cool, speakers that come in a box that you then take out of the box and make into a box. We thought it sounded strange too.

The cardboard box speakers are exactly that speakers in a cardboard box, whether such expensive casing enhances acoustic quality is unknown but some how I don’t think superior sound quality is the point of these.

Mermory Stick Lego

by Al

Memory Stick Lego HolderBefore my Sinclair Spectrum, Lego was my all time favourite toy. Even my Lego train-set was cool, in fact there wasn’t a single thing that I couldn’t make (when I was 7). Why am I going on about a toy that must be at least 50 years old? Today I saw a picture of a prototype memory card holder that looked just like, guess what, Lego blocks :)

The company behind these keychain cases, Best Rubber Productions have also made such classics as the Silicone Rubber Bracelet, the Silicone Rubber Cover for the iPod and the Silicone Rubber Ashtray. So you can probably guess what these little Lego key chains are made out of. Like conventional Lego they are also stackable so if you have several SD Cards or memory sticks you can store them all together in an infinitely expandable Lego house :) .

Orgasmic Ringtones

by Al

Orgasmic RingtonesThis is another why didn’t I think of that kind of post, Orgasmatones, the personalised Orgasmic Ring-tones.

These ringtones are certain to get your attention and are a whole load less annoying than the crazy frog. As the ringtones are personalised for each name they don’t sound like Steven Hawkins is saying your name mid ecstatic moan.

To get the ringtone you just need to go to the Orgasmatone site, enter your name, pay the fee (£2.50 about $4) and download. If you’re name isn’t available you can submit it and they’ll get one of 6 sexy (well they sound it but sounds can be very deceiving) young women to scream your name in pleasure. Though we know she’s faking it :) .

Kerala Trance Binary Watch

by Al

Kerala Trance Binary WatchI’m a big fan of good watches and geeky watches and this new time piece from Firebox fits quite nicely into both categories, theKerala Trance Watch.

The Kerala Trance is about as geeky as watches get. The time is displayed in binary format which initially will take a bit of calculating to work out the time but once you get used to it, it will become second nature.

The only thing I feel that lets this watch down is the boring black leather strap, I was expecting something a bit more futuristic. It also commands a bit of a high price (100UKP) and is available from Firebox.

Rubber Band Warfare

by Al

Rubber ban gun
This must be the ultimate weapon in the office rubber band flicking war, the fully automatic rubber band machine gun.

Each machine gun is beautifully hand crafted and not only resembles an old western Gatling Gun but actually fires like one. Ammunition for the gun is obviously elastic bands, of which it can hold 144 at a time (12 bands on each of the 12 barrels). Continue reading » Rubber Band Warfare
