Remote Control Farting Teddy

Ah doesn’t it look adorable! This teddy may look cute but it’s not exactly a romantic gift, as at the press of a button he vulgarly breaks wind.
As wacky gadgets go the remote farting teddy is well up there and a great way to encourage kids that farting is really funny, hm-mm not sure if you really want to be encouraging that one
The Remote Farting Teddy is available from Harriet Carter for $12.85.

Mazu Kan, Fight Like a Super Hero
When I first saw this I thought it was going to be a game like laser quest, was I wrong! Mazu Kan lets 2 players battle it out like real superheroes.
To play each player wears a Mazu Kan harness around the chest and the actual controllers on each wrist and hand. In order to attack your opponent you need to squeeze a palm button and punch into the air (shouting some superhero chant at the same time). This then sends a attack to your opponent who must block or be docked points (indicated via a vibrating harness).
After a bit of practice you can play the game at a harder level which allows more advanced moves, like the Double Power Punch and Force Field.
So if remote control robot boxing isn’t your cup of tea check out Mazu Kan, available from Think Geek for $49.99.

Really Cool Boxing Robot Game
This is definitely one to add to your Christmas list (yeah I know it’s only September but these fellows are cool), your very own remote control boxing robots.
Each robot is capable of 8 different moves (like 360 spins, bobbing, hooks, and jabs etc.). The aim of the game is to out box your opponent. When one you land a punch the other robot will change it’s facial expression and let out an audible objection.
You can get a pair of robots complete with controllers for $84.95 from Hammacher, let the fighting begin

Piggy Bank

The Piggy Bank Puzzle takes 3D jigsaws to the next level, not only do you have to put it back together you also have to glue all the pieces. I wonder if you can complete it numerous time by throwing it against the wall (probably not advisable).
The Piggy Bank Puzzle is available from Firebox for £19.95.

MacBook Cat Toy
YouTube user Matt Coats has found the perfect toy for his pet cat named Robot… the only problem is it costs about $1000 and it’s his MacBook laptop.
Not only is the MacBook very warm and the perfect place to take a little catnap, but it can also provide hours of entertainmnet thanks to Apple’s media center application called Front Row.
Matt setup a camera and put his MacBook on the floor. You can check out the video here on YouTube.
Let’s hope Matt got Robot declawed or invested in some scratch proof screen protectors.

Make Your Own Cardboard Robot
One of the perks of running CG is we often get sent gadgets to review, most of the time we’ll give them out to the community as prizes (we currently have a $1,000 competition running and since the start of that competition we’ve received another $1,500 worth of prizes for the next one
). This next bribe, freebie review piece is one we’ll be keeping as we had to make it our selves, Kokino the Paper Robot toy.
A1 Quality Toys contacted me a little while ago to ask if I’d like to review their Paper Toy Robot, as I’m one to rarely say no it turned up a few days later, thanks guys. Read the rest of this entry »

Multi-Colored Magna Doodle

I’m not sure if these are new but they never had them when I was a kid, multi colored Magna Doodles.
Instead of doodling in boring old black you can now doodle in multiple colors. By the looks of the pic it’s only in red and blue but that makes a huge difference in the quality of drawings that 4 year olds can do
.
Available from Target, found on Book of Joe.
