Animal, vegetable, mineral, or other is the first question you must answer to try and stump this cool gadget. This gadgets uses artificial intelligence and will ask up to 20 questions to try and figure out what you object you are thinking of, if it does not get the correct answer in 20 questions it will ask 5 more and then declare you the winner if it did got get the answer correct.

The neural network is similar to the human brain and is uses logic to figure out the answers and to ask the correct questions enable to arrive at the correct answer. Just like a detective would.

This is a fun game the entire family can enjoy. You can divide up into teams or couples and see who is smarter than the artificial intelligence.

When we reported on the Deflexion Laser board game earlier this month it proved to be our most popular post in terms of views and link backs.

Unfortunately then we hadn’t found anybody that sold it online, well ThinkGeek have come to the rescue as they now have it in stock and available to buy here. If this had been available a few weeks ago I could see this being in many stockings come Sunday but better late than never I suppose.

Yo-yo’s seem to be one of those toys that come back in popularity every 5 years or so. They were supposedly invented by the Greeks (400-500BC) but there’s also talk of an earlier version on Egyptian pictures. But history has never been one of my strongest (or at all interesting) subjects so I’m pleased to say this post is about a modern day version of the Yo-Yo that includes an LCD display, LED flashing lights, infra red communications and most importantly fighting Yo-Yo’s. Come on, admit it. You have, at some point in your life, started swinging a broom handle around making “Psheeewww, Whummmm… Whummmm” noises. No? Errr - no, me either! Definitely never done that, nosireee.

But on the offchance you did want to act out your fave sci-fi moments these ForceFX lightsabers would be the things to start with. Let’s not pretend here - they’re not a gadget, they’re a complete toy but they’re cool all the same.

They’re “collectable” - which basically means they change the colour of the blade every year or so and re-issue it - but the really neat thing is the sampled noises from the film and the motion sensors in the hilt that give you the authentic noises at the proper time. Plus the power up and down noises, and a sensor in the blade to give you the nice “clash” noise when you whack someone/thing. To top it all they even light up progressively, just like the “real” thing.
