Inflatable Football Pitch

May 21st, 2006 by Al in Football Gadgets, Garden Gadgets, Toys

Inflatable Football Pitch

Okay this may be for the kids but it’s football related, inflatable and looks kind of cool. The Inflatable Football Pitch is like a football jail for your kids. I can imagine it now:

  • Inflate pitch
  • Add kids
  • Add ball
  • Go inside and watch real football on TV

You can get the perfect pitch from Woolworths (not a store renown for gadgets or quality products to that matter).

Solar Powered 8m Airship for only Ten pounds

May 17th, 2006 by Al in Garden Gadgets, Solar Powered Gear, Toys

Solar Heated BalloonThis solar powered gadget looks a load more fun than the solar powered ventilator we wrote about earlier (though not as much fun as the Wego Kite Tube). The black Solar Airship is probably the most fun you can have in the park with your clothes on.

To use the sausage shaped Airship, simply fill with air which I assume is done by holding it open and running across the field with an insane grin on your face (so no puffing required though probably a bit of panting). Once filled with air the solar airship measures a whopping 8 metres long. Next you let the sun heat the airship and watch it rise into the air holding on for dear life. I’m not sure what sort of weight it can lift but it will be fun to find out.

You can get the Solar Airship from The Gadget Shop for £10 which is an absolute steal IMO.

Speedy Electric Scooter

May 15th, 2006 by Al in Toys, Vehicle Gadgets

Moterised Electric Scooter

I normally associate scooters with kids toys but the GoMotoboard is the sort of toy that us grown-ups will enjoy.

The latest model of the GoMotoboard electric scooter can travel 15 miles off one charge and has a top speed of 15mph which will feel pretty quick when your standing a couple of inches off the floor.

This model costs £450 but if your after a bargain you can get the previous version for 1/2 price (£175). More details here found via Stuff.

USB image launcher.

I know – another USB gadget, but bear with us! This is one of the coolest toy gadgets we’ve seen in a while; a USB missile launcher. This goes one better than the remote controlled missile launcher we’ve already featured. This missile launcher connects to your PC or laptop and can be controlled using software.

Shocking Pass the Parcel Game

May 12th, 2006 by Al in Toys, Wacky Gadgets

Shocking Ball
What do you get if you cross the age old children’s game pass the parcel with a sadistic electric shock machine, your very own shock ball.

Next time you and your mates are arguing about who’s turn it is, instead of resorting to coin tossing or chanting eeny-meeny-miney-mo, pull out you shock ball. Throw it between you and who ever is holding it when it delivers its non lethal shock is the loser that has to buy the first round.

You can get the shock ball from Firebox (if you dare :))

Remote Control Floating Tray

May 12th, 2006 by Al in Home Gadgets, Remote Control Toys

Remote Control Drink TrayWe seem to feature quite a few swimming gadgets here on CG, so far we’ve reported on solar powered heaters, robotic pool cleaners, the floating pool bar and now we have the Remote control drink float.

With this remote control gadget you are able to play party host from dry land whilst your guests are frolicking in the pool. Load up the drinks tray with up to 5 drinks, and a plate of snacks, launch it in your pool and then using the remote sail the tray around to your thirsty guests. Now if only I could afford a pool.

Available from Things You Never Knew for just under $50.

Remote controlled blimp – the kitschiest gadget ever

May 8th, 2006 by Paz in Football Gadgets, Remote Control Toys
Remote controlled blimp.

As you probably know already, the coolest gadgets team are getting pretty excited about the approaching football World Cup competition, and we’re thinking about starting a gadgets category for Cup football related gadgets, with this cool looking remote-controlled blimp as the first entry.

Even if you’re not crazy about football, I’m sure you can imagine the ironic cheers of appreciation when this gadget takes off during a summer barbeque party in your back garden.
