Golf Driver Kooler Klub Serves Up The Stealth

Let’s be honest with ourselves. Not every golf player is lucky enough to join a fancy country club. The kind where chauffeurs are sent to fetch your every whim. You want a diet soda? You’ve got it! You want some hard lemonade? No problem! The vast majority of us need to play on public courses. The kind where getting to the 18th hole means dodging across the highway which intersects the course.
By the time you get far enough away from the club house, there is just no way you’re going to want to make the hike back and forth between the beverage counter and your hole. Yet most golf courses ban players to bring any outside beverages onto the course. Luckily, The Designated Driver Kooler Klub from After 5 Catalog has us covered.

Robo-Pong
We have reported about some advancements in Pong before, so I figured we should also report about advancements in ping-pong. Okay, that was a weak introduction, but I believe that Robo-Pong 2040 is the best thing to happen to ping-pong since the paddle.
Robo-Pong could easily play the main villain in a Balls of Fury sequel in the ultimate battle of man vs. machine. Robo-Pong wields a gun that fires ping pong balls at its human opponent at varying speeds, and can even do fast chops and shallow spikes. With a top serving speed of 75 miles per hour, Robo-Pong would give Forrest Gump a run for his money. “That’s all I got to say about that.”
Unlike the automatic servers that tennis players use, the Robo-Pong won’t be running out of balls anytime soon. Once the player hits the balls back, they are collected in a net and put back into the shooter.

Underwater Pogo Stick
Go jumping on a pogo stick while underwater – at least that’s what this neat little gizmo claims to be able to do. I’m pretty impressed, to say the least.
This is the only pogo stick designed for use in swimming pools that allows you to perform a variety of waterborne stunts as you bounce off walls or bottoms. A rigid ball filled with water fits into the non-slip footrest, providing responsive push-off when compressed against a pools floor with your body weight, enabling you to splash effortlessly in shallower water and bound powerfully through deeper water. The stick is made from heavy-duty ABS plastic with two rubber handlebars for a firm grip. For use with in-ground pools with solid surfaces.
Since summer’s around the corner, why not prepare yourself for a time of fun with friends and family? The Underwater Pogo Stick retails for $59.95.
Home based golf simulator goes indoors as well as out

Everyone remembers the scene in Caddyshack. Not that scene. Not that scene either. But the one where the priest is playing the greatest golf game of his life in the worst storm in decades and on his last shot, he misses the putt and the course record. He curses the heavens and is struck down by lightning for his impudence. Well, it would surprise you to know that happens a lot. Every year, hundreds of golfers get struck by lightning while trying to get in a quick 9 holes. Even famed golfer Lee Trevino was hit by a sideways bolt of lightning in 1975. So, how do a foursome get their round in when the clouds go dark? The Eball Golf Simulator, of course. But it’s not cheap.

Cyclepong 2.0

I haven’t been into Pong since the seventies, but if I ever wanted to play it now, I would definitely use the Cyclepong 2.0.
The Cyclepong 2.0 is not two stationary bikes put in front of the old-school Pong game. That would be cool, but the Cyclepong 2.0 is even cooler as it uses two stationary bikes as the controllers for the Pong game.
The players work the paddles by pedaling forward to go up, and backward to go down. In all honesty, I’m not certain how much exercise you can get from this. After all, it’s not like the players are continuously pedaling, and studies have shown that you have to get pretty worked up in order to lose weight. However, people who really get into their video games could find the Cyclepong 2.0 to be an advanced version of WiiSports.

An Autonomous Golf Caddy That Follows You From Hole To Hole

As men lumber through their elderly years, often times the game of golf becomes a welcomed getaway into nature. A place to go for sanctuary, away from the nagging wife, and away from money gobbling kids. By the time men reach the “average” golfing age, they have either lost a considerable amount of muscle strength, yet are still too full of pride to pay a caddy to lug around their clubs, or just don’t want to miss out on the beautiful landscape as they trudge across their country club’s course.
The three-wheeled Shadow Caddy is a fully autonomous set of wheels for the golf course. While you place your golf bag in the cart of the Shadow Caddy, the device loyally follows you around the green, without the need of a tip at every hole.

ProLink ProStar GPS at Brickyard Crossing Golf Course
ProLink Solutions announced that its Brickyard Crossing Golf Course located at Indianapolis, Ind. will now feature the ProLink Solutions ProStar GPS system which has to date, seen action at many of the world’s most famous golf courses. This is one nifty way a GPS system will be able to help folks out in everyday life instead of just offering you the best route to and from work. After all, having a GPS system with you on the golf course will greatly aid your game and help save time in the long run, as you know exactly where to walk to – I’d just make sure my maps were updated before I head out to the greens though.

iSH2 from H2O Audio

H2O Audio has just announced that its new Natalie Coughlin Signature Series: iSH2 product is now available for sale exclusively at Apple Stores from this month onwards. Guess folks who have been hankering after an integrated waterproof headset can finally lay their hands on the iSH2 which was specially developed to work with the Apple iPod Shuffle Gen 2 and 3. Of course, it goes without saying that if you purchase this, it is also compulsory to have some sort of waterproof casing for your iPod Shuffle in the first place as water and electronics do not play nice with each other. Interestingly enough, the product was conceived by H2O Audio and developed with the assistance of world record holder and Olympic multi-medalist swimmer, Natalie Coughlin to turn the fatigue of lap and distance swim training into a music-energized experience.
