Wacky Golf Ball Set

August 1st, 2006 by Liam in Golf Gadgets, Toys

Wacky Golf Ball Set
This is a really funny set of golf balls which would make a funny prank to play on the golfer that you know. Included in the set are four balls with hilarious side effects which are activated on impact.

Each ball looks completely normal on the outside and appears to be standard regulation size. There is of course the exploding ball which I’m sure we’ve all seen, however, it’s still incredibly funny to see someone hit it only to see the ball explode in front of their eyes! Next there is a golf ball that actually does fly, however while in mid-air it releases a 15-foot long streamer which would probably confuse a lot of people.

FM Radio Binoculars

July 24th, 2006 by Al in Electronic Gadgets, Sport

Binoculars with built in radioWhen I first heard of these I thought what is the point of having an FM radio in a pair of binoculars but for sports fans it’s actually a pretty good idea.

If you’ve ever been to a football match and found your self sitting in the top tier it can be a struggle to make out whose currently got the ball, hence the need for binoculars and if you miss not having the commentary you get on TV you can tune the radio to getting running commentary. Just hope the commentary is in real-time or it could get very confusing.

The FM Radio Binoculars are available from the Hammacher store.

The Beer Butler gadget features a sliding base shaped like a football. When someone needs a fresh drink, you simply load it up and give it a shove in your drinking partner’s direction. The remarkable thing about this gadget is that as it approaches the edge of the table, it stops without going over the edge – but how?
