G6 Golf Swing Monitor & Watch

January 12th, 2007 by Mike in Golf Gadgets

Suunto G6 Golf Swing Monitor & Watch
It’s kinda weird, I love all sorts of golf gadgets like RadarGolf and StreetGolf, but never, and I mean never, would I ever actually consider using them because I hate golf. Of all sports, it has to be my least favorite save baseball, it’s just to boring for me. Still, all the extravagant seemingly silly gadgets golfers seem to buy, like the gadget I’m about to describe, amuses me to no end. Suunto’s G6 Swing Monitor & Watch is the gadget for the golfer who has every other golfing gadget. It’s ridiculously expensive and ugly, what a combination.

Hit and Flash Balls

November 22nd, 2006 by Al in Golf Gadgets

Twilight Tracer Golf BallsIf you’ve ever had difficulty finding your balls after dark (golf balls that is) then these might just be the answer, the Twilight Tracer Golf Balls.

The twilight tracer golf balls have all the required functionality of a conventional ball (feel, accuracy, distance, regulation size and weight, etc.) and look exactly like a normal ball. That is until you hit it, where upon it changes from a boring white dimpled ball to an all singing red flashing flying sphere. The flashing effect lasts for 5 minutes, so that you can still find the ball after a leisurely stroll.

You can get the twilight tracer golf balls from latestbuy for $39.95 (AUD).

Digital Putter aims to help you score

October 9th, 2006 by Edwin in Golf Gadgets, Sport
Coolest Gadgets

digital-putter.jpgSo you’re no Tiger Woods, but yet you are dressed from head to toe in Tiger paraphernalia and own the most expensive set of golf clubs among your peers and business associates. Not only that, you have flown and played at the most prestigious golf courses around the world, thanks to your influence and position. You have your own personal caddy who doubles up as a butler and secretary wherever you go, and have even hired a coach to help improve your game. Unfortunately, all the money in the world can’t seem to lower your handicap as your putts seem to go wayward no matter what you’ve tried. It seems that everything on the course have already been blamed for you missing the shot, including the wind, a beeping pager, a ringing cellphone, and even the uneven grass.

Find your lost balls with RadarGolf

August 31st, 2006 by Mike in Golf Gadgets, Sport

RadarGolfPersonally, I hate golf. It’s slow, and takes forever. But this gadget actually makes me want to play a bit, or at least play with a golf ball. I can leave out the clubs and score keeping part.

It’s called RadarGolf. It solves a common problem, people lose their ball and have absolutely no idea where it is. Rather than just getting a new ball and forgetting about the old one, something I’d do, you could use your RadarGolf to find that lost ball.

August 31st, 2006 by Al in Golf Gadgets, Sport, Wacky Gadgets

Potty PutterWelcome to the new extreme sport for golfers, potty putter. Now instead of using up precious green time when vacating the premises you can get in a bit of putting practice.

If you have a row of cubicles in your office toilets you could even play with your friends, which is probably safer than toilet volleyball :).

You can get potty putter from Boys Stuff (yes this is actually a product that you can buy).
