DogPause Healthy Dog Bowl

by Edwin

It makes you wonder just how a dog bowl can be “healthy” – well, most dogs as we know it just wolf down their food the moment they are given permission to do so, but with the DogPause, all that will be changed.

Introducing DogPause, the first dogbowl with proprietary SlowZones and integrated portion control. You know how you feel when you eat too fast (or eat too much). Same thing with your dog – it’s not healthy for him or her to inhale the food. DogPause is the only dog bowl clinically proven to slow down dogs’ eating. In clinical tests run by professional vets, DogPause slowed down dogs by an average of 50% vs. standard dog bowls. As vets will confirm, a slower eating dog is a happier, healthier dog with less risk of experiencing (or doing) all sorts of yucky things like vomiting, gas, belching, gagging, life-threatening bloat, etc. Which makes life better for you and your dog…

Well this is certainly interesting. I wonder just how far to human behavior do we associate with where dogs are concerned. Will there be dog lingerie the next time round? If you’re interested, the DogPause dog bowl will retail for $17.95 and it comes with free shipping.

Globe Aquarium with LED Light

by Edwin

Talk about trippin’ out your pet fish! The Globe Aquarium with LED Light will certainly induce some sense of disorientation into your finned friend’s limited world as it moves from a sunny, bright disposition during the day to a blue glow at night.

Simple and safe, our Globe Aquarium w/ LED Light is the perfect addition to any room in your house. Made with superior glass and aluminum alloy base with modern design, this aquarium will help provide a healthy environment for your fish. The aquarium holds 1/2 gallon of water. Comes with 0.8W LED Light.

I wonder which kind of fish would thrive best under such lighting conditions of this $49.95 “disco aquarium” – perhaps the betta as shown?

DogFree Snack Launcher

by AndrewD

Surprisingly (or maybe not so surprising, depending on how you look at it), this is not the first of its kind. Back in 2006, we wrote about the SnackShotz Treat Launcher. While the SnackShotz has a similar concept, this DogFree Snack Launcher is totally cooler and much more practical. Just take a look and compare, you’ll see for yourself.

The DogFree Snack Launcher adds an interesting new twist for spoiling your canine companion. Load the launcher with your dog’s favorite treat and press the trigger. The treat will launch far enough to add the extra incentive of fetch into the treat process. The result? More fun than traditional treat feeding, for both you and your wonder pooch.

Dog Toilet: Animal Cruelty Via Their Own Feces

by AndrewD

If you frequently walk your dog in a park or any other public area, there are pretty strict laws against picking up all of the poopy which your pup excretes. I mean, they probably won’t perform a DNA test on the crap to track you down, but if you’re caught, there’s a hefty fine. Let’s be honest with ourselves, we don’t want to be anywhere near dog poop, period.

This handy Wearable Dog Toilet might not be the most pleasant product to strap on to your pet, but at least it saves you the worry of bending your lazy ass over to pick up after your own dog which you wanted “So badly!” in the first place. No, but really, don’t buy this. Just stop being lazy and wash your hands more often. But I digress.

The Plexidor Electronic Pet Door

by Ally

With today’s technology there are a lot of ways to make sure your pet is well taken care of and safe.  Well this Plexidor is basically an updated version of the classic doggy door.  It works as a garage door would, only instead of hitting a button this has an RFID chip that clips to your pet’s collar.  Then whenever they get close to the door it will slide open.  Which thankfully means that you won’t be stuck up at 7am on a Saturday when they suddenly feel the need to go outside.  Also an extra bonus is that this little door won’t go flying open over a bit of windy weather.

PetPocket transportable birdcage

by Edwin

Birds are meant to fly free and not kept in a cage, at least that’s my personal opinion. Still, if you’re one who owns a pet bird, I’m sure you have your reasons. What happens if you want to take a vacation or go out of town for a couple of days and want to bring Tweety with you? Well, there is the PetPocket transportable birdcage that comes with a removable bottom tray and a couple of toy hanging loops from the top. Capable of holding up to medium-sized birds, you’ll then be able to travel in peace knowing that your feathered friend is near you always. The PetPocket will retail for $30. I suppose if you add a wire mesh around, you’ll be able to transport hamsters as well…

Birdcage Backpack

by AndrewD

Polly doesn’t always want a cracker. Sometimes your bird just wants some love and good company. Sure, some birds like their alone time as much as you or me, but a bird such as a parrot is a social animal. They need to see the world and get some fresh air, rather than being pent up in your house all day.

The Birdcage Backback allows you to take your bird for a stroll. If you don’t have the patience of a pirate and can’t train the bird to sit obediently on your shoulder without flying away, then you must keep the pet confined. But at least you can allow the bird to get some fresh air and a view of the outside world.

The Ultrasonic Collar stops your dogs barking without shocking

by Ally

If you hate getting those collars that zap your dog every time it barks, then you might give this one a try instead.  Although the shock collars are a bit more entertaining for those with a  slightly twisted sense of humor (me), eventually your dog is probably going to hate you.  This dog collar will instead just annoy your dog by sending out an obnoxious frequency.  Which over time will make them not want to bark all the time.  See, this is why I have a cat, I have heard my cat make a noise like all of five times in her entire life.  Which means no need for a collar to keep her quiet.
