A Loft for your Fish Pond

October 13th, 2006 by Al in Pet Gadgets

Fish LoftI’ve not come across many cool pond gadgets (the only cool think about most ponds is the temperature), so I had to share this “interesting” pond extension, the Fish Loft.

The fish loft is a clear tube that when placed correctly in your pond allows you fish to safely escape the mundane existence of swimming in a hole and instead swim up into the outside world, though how you encourage your fish to swim up the tube I’ve no idea.

You can get further info and buy the fish loft from err Fish Loft, found via Crib Candy, thanks.

Pet Drinking Fountain keeps things bubbly

September 19th, 2006 by Edwin in Drinking Gadgets, Home Gadgets, Pet Gadgets

ultra-bubbler.jpgThose who are blessed enough to have a man-made pond at home find it very soothing and often listen to the sounds of an artificial, babbling brook to smooth out the day’s crumples and stress. If you do not have the living space nor the finance to build such a pond in your backyard, why not pick up the Pet Drinking Fountain instead? All you need to do is to get a dog or a cat to keep you company, and you’re good to go.

MacBook Cat Toy

September 18th, 2006 by methodshop in Home Gadgets, Miscellaneous Gadgets, Pet Gadgets, Toys

YouTube user Matt Coats has found the perfect toy for his pet cat named Robot… the only problem is it costs about $1000 and it’s his MacBook laptop.

Not only is the MacBook very warm and the perfect place to take a little catnap, but it can also provide hours of entertainmnet thanks to Apple’s media center application called Front Row.

Matt setup a camera and put his MacBook on the floor. You can check out the video here on YouTube.

Let’s hope Matt got Robot declawed or invested in some scratch proof screen protectors.

HyperDog Tennis Ball Launcher

September 13th, 2006 by Mike in Pet Gadgets

HyperDog
You’re dog loves to play fetch, but you just hate it. Maybe you’ve got a terrible arm and can only throw a miserable 50 feet, or you just hate touching the slimy ball after it’s covered with your dog’s slobber. You won’t have to embarrass yourself in the park any longer, that is, if you have a HyperDog Tennis ball Launcher.

It looks pretty weird, but it does what it does well. That is, it lets you throw tennis balls without actually touching them.

Pool Gadgets - Series 4

September 10th, 2006 by Tiago in Home Gadgets, Pet Gadgets

More pool gadgets = more fun while using your pool. That is what I have been trying to do on the latest series, it’s an attempt to help you pick some cool gadgets to have fun on the water. Find out the other series:
Number One
Number Two
Number Three

On these series the budget is high, but so is the quality of the products. The Inflatable Iceberg is the biggest and most fun floating item I have seen, seriously. It measures 4 meters and half that you can climb, the ascension can be done on one of the 3 walls since the fourth one is just a big slide. The 3 walls have different difficult levels, from easy to almost impossible which is intended for experts only. As you can see on the image, this iceberg is huge so you better have a huge pool too.

Cell Phones for your Pets

August 30th, 2006 by Al in Mobile Phones, Pet Gadgets, Wacky Gadgets

Pet PhoneI didn’t know whether to laugh or cry when I first read about this, a cell phone for your pets, PetsCell™.

The PetsCell is a fully waterpoof voice enabled mobile phone that you attach to your dogs collar. Your dog then has it’s own number you can call it on, so if he gets lost you can call him up and ask him where he is, woof once for the park or twice for the nearest lampost.

Fish n’ Flush beautifies bathroom

August 28th, 2006 by Edwin in Home Gadgets, Pet Gadgets

fisn-n-flush.jpgHere’s an interesting home beautification device that could potentially help move the bowels of constipated people due to the soothing effect of an aquarium. The Fish n’ Flush aquarium is a two-piece aquarium toilet tank that can be fitted into most toilets without any trouble at all. The aquarium is encased around a see-through inner tank, where the child-friendly 12-volt dual filter system will keep the water inside the tank clean to minimize maintenance, providing a healthy living environment for your fish amidst all the flushing that goes on.
