Most Trekkies would definitely have a computer at the very least, and since they don’t have any means of communicating with the other intelligent lifeforms out there, they will just have to make do with relatives and friends all over the world, using the U.S.S Enterprise Web Cam as a means. It looks as though the webcam was floating above the computer, and when plugged in via USB, it engine nacelles will light up for added effect while the focusable camera remains in the deflector dish. With an adjustable flex, you can position the Enterprise for the optimal view, moving it around as required when you shoot more risque videos of yourself for a little interstellar striptease. This puppy is going for £39.99 a pop.

Want to know what’s going on behind the scenes with your desktop at work whenever you leave the office? The Spy Keylogger ought to come in handy, featuring 2MB of internal memory to store all the keystrokes made whenever you’re not around. Of course, it works with most wired keyboards, so those who are using wireless keyboards will be able to get away scot free. With devices like these getting more and more commonplace, we would recommend you check out the back of your desktop the moment you clock in for work just in case someone is snooping around your office activity, trying to garner a password or two from you in the process.
These keyloggers act as the “man-in-the-middle,” monitoring each keystroke as it flies down your cable into your computer. You notice nothing, since every key you type gets dutifully reproduced on your screen. Somewhere, however, you’ve got a sneaky person quietly recording everything, just waiting for you to step away for a few minutes so they can retrieve the offending device and play back everything. The logger saves every keystroke into onboard memory. To read the contents, remove the logger and connect it to your own computer and keyboard. Typing in a password into any text-editor begins the memory-dump process.
Available in USB or PS/2 interface models, the Spy Keylogger will retail for $59.99 and $74.99, respectively.

When one hears of a soap mouse, most would just figure it’s some geeky mouse shaped soap. After all, there have been a few different mouse shaped soap bars that have hit the market. Well this mouse is the exception to the rest, it’s a mouse made to resemble soap. You might be wondering why someone would create a mouse that looks like soap and it’s a valid question. Although, finding out just where this mouse is being sold, pretty much explains everything.

AX PC Pro by Tritton Technologies
September 11th, 2009 by Mark R in Audio/Video Gadgets, Gaming Gadgets, USB GadgetsThe AX PC Pro by Tritton Technologies is designed for those gamers who really need to hear every little sound in the background.
I am told that this matters, because many games are encoded with 5.1 surround sound, which is not compatible on most PCs and laptops.
Inside the AX PC Pro are eight precision speakers that have been “strategically placed to provide maximum accuracy, clarity and heart thumping bass”. Tritton claims that it is a 3D audio experience, which might be very cool once 3D video games start to surface on PCs.
Philips SPM9800 Bluetooth mouse is wired
September 11th, 2009 by Edwin in Electronic Gadgets, PC Gadgets, USB Gadgets
No, we don’t mean wired as in being tapped. While most of us would think of a Bluetooth device as shedding its wire(s), the Philips SPM9800 takes a different route since it hides a USB cord right under. We guess this makes it useable even when it has run out of battery, and would be even better when it can be charged via USB when plugged in. The mouse itself will feature Philip’s proprietary 360°TouchControl technology that enables it to continue functioning in the air when there is an absence of surface. Expect to see the Philips SPM9800 arrive in selected European markets for approximately $80 a pop.

USB Ultrasonic Mosquito Pest Repeller
September 9th, 2009 by Ally in PC Gadgets, USB Gadgets
I can never entirely decide what I think about electronic devices that are supposed to repel certain types of insects. One thing I do know though, is that I have heard several people swear by them. Well now here’s one to keep the mosquitoes away from you. I’m not sure why you’d need a USB device to do that, but perhaps your laptop has a pesky mosquito infestation. It could happen.
