USB Aircraft Mouse

July 7th, 2008 by AndrewD in PC Gadgets, USB Gadgets

So you’ve always wanted to get your pilot license, but your severe fear of flying has held you back. Not to mention you’re more interested in flight simulation games than actual aircraft flying. But all of that dreaming has done nothing to thwart your love of aircraft themed gadgets. And this one is an awesome example.

This USB Aircraft Mouse is an awesome addition to a plane lovers desk. The aircraft design also makes the mouse an ergonomic joy, though a little too chunky for some people. It’s probably not the kind of mouse you want to pack in a laptop case.

July 6th, 2008 by Ally in PC Gadgets, USB Gadgets

If you haven’t been able to get your hands on one of the coveted iPods so far, but you love the look of them this memory stick would be cheaper and cute.  It doesn’t quite have the sleek look of the iPod, but instead goes for a cuddly lovable version.  Just flip it open and inside is a memory stick to hold all of your data. iPod owners could even carry this around to show their love for all things iPod without having to worry about the real thing getting stolen.

Pico USB flash drive

June 30th, 2008 by Edwin in PC Gadgets, USB Gadgets

Mention Pico and chances are you’ll think of something small. Guess there isn’t any prizes up for grabs if you manage to figure out just what the Pico USB flash drive is like!

No exception, this little drive is the smallest we’ve ever seen. Barely bigger than the tip of your pinky, and less than 4mm thick, it’s positively small. The polished chrome finish is certainly shiny, but at 8 gigabytes, it’s redonkulously teeny! Store four full length ripped movies, five days worth of music, more than four-thousand 5 megapixel photos, or eighty-meters worth of shelved books. Sure, it’s so small you could easily lose it, so we’ve included a chain to help keep it around.

It measures 31.3mm x 12.4mm x 3.4mm and comes in a polished chrome finish, and being shock- and water-resistant, it makes me feel much more secure knowing that my data inside is safe. Now if only there is a way NOT to lose this $49.99 device…

USB Fairy Lights Add A Touch Of Twilight

June 27th, 2008 by AndrewD in Office Gadgets, USB Gadgets

You have to be pretty festive, pretty nerdy, pretty girly, or all of the above to want to add stary USB lights to the design of your office space. Luckily for you festively girly fabulous nerd readers, we have just the ticket with these USB Fairy Lights, which add a touch of Christmas light ascetic to your boring old notebook.

If there was ever a word which isn’t associated with brute manliness, it’s got to be the word fairy. Forget it’s mildly homoerotic overtones. The word itself just sounds, well, girly. For the sake of argument, let’s just say this gadget is a little confused about it’s title. The USB Fairy Lights are not so much fairies, as they are cute little illuminated stars.

June 26th, 2008 by Edwin in PC Gadgets, USB Gadgets

Gadget mavens Brando are back with yet another SATA hard drive dock, and this time round, their offering features a built-in 2-port USB hub and a memory card reader for your convenience. Gotta love the one touch backup feature, since that makes it a snap to keep a copy of all your crucial files without going through too much of a hassle. Good to know it supports both 2.5″ and 3.5″ SATA hard drives, making this a highly versatile gizmo to have, especially when you want to transfer data from different computers since this connects via USB. It will cost you $53 to bring this puppy home.

StarWars USB Ports

June 26th, 2008 by Mark R in USB Gadgets

We have seen much Star Wars merchandise in the last three decades, some of it was cheaply made, and some has passed the test of time. So why not make Star Wars USB hubs?

Before you say “to get George Lucas more money”, let me tell you more about these particular Star Wars products. Not only will they give you some extra USB ports and give authentic Star Wars décor to your desk, but the R2D2 and Darth Vader models also come with some special features.

USB Hub Notebook Light

June 24th, 2008 by AndrewD in PC Gadgets, USB Gadgets

Even if the summer season means we get a few hours of extra sunlight, us night owls are still left in the dark, season after season. While most of us geeks are extremely smart when it comes to mindless trivia and gaming, we lack the common sense it takes to survive doing the things we love. Case in point, we stay up all night, yet forget to buy a notebook with a backlit keyboard.

Of course we could buy an actual desk lamp, at least those who remember to pay their electricity bill can. But what if we just like chilling in the total darkness with just a faint light illuminating our keyboard? Not only does this USB Hub Notebook Light appeal to our fear of total darkness, but also provides us with four extra USB ports, clipped right to the top of our notebooks.
