Safe Eyes has made its way to the Mac, offering special enhancements for Mac users. Some of the features include :-

Is Redmond punting Vista? Completely new Windows in `09
As a Vista user, have you often thought you ended up buying a BETA or even ALPHA copy of an OS? More and more Windows users are even going to so far as to downgrade back to XP. Well, it seems that Redmond is listening but they’re not doing what you’d expect them to do … instead, their reinventing the wheel. Again.

Wacom Bamboo Pen Tablet
This might be one of the only times that I wished I had Windows Vista. Then I could have written this post by hand.
I’m sure a lot of you are saying: “But we can’t read your handwriting”. And you should, because my handwriting is sloppy. However, with Windows Vista and the Wacom Bamboo Pen Tablet, all my printed words can be easily transferred into typed text.
If you haven’t heard of the Wacom Bamboo, it is a very sleek device that includes a pen tablet and digital pen for lots of drawing potential. Not only can a user write-to-text, but he or she can make sketches, or add his or her personal signature to digital documents. The feeling of the Bamboo is just like pen-on-paper, and I found that it was not at all awkward to work with.

AirMail – A fitting case for your new MacBook Air

Remember that new notebook that came out the other day? You know the one, it’s really small, I think that Apple makes it. How long do you think it will be before someone actually makes a case that looks like one of those envelopes? Not as long as you might think.

Acer set to launch Eee PC competitor

It’s no small secret that computer manufacturers are trying to capture the ultra portable laptop market. Asus has all but set the bar with its Eee PC. Since it was debuted, I can’t recall seeing any negative reviews. Sure, it doesn’t have a ton of power, and it is lacking in the hard drive department, but for $400, you get one kick-ass computer. So the question is who will be the next manufacturer to toss their hat into the ring?

MacSpeech rolls out MacSpeech Dictate

I’m not too sure why nearly every single software or hardware that has to do with Apple normally comes with the ‘i’ prefix, but hey, if it works just fine, there isn’t much to complain about as this would be but a minor gripe. MacSpeech has taken the opportunity to introduce its MacSpeech Dictate software for the Mac that utilizes Nuance’s speech processing engine to create one of the (claimed) most accurate commercial speech dictating software ever, even more so than iListen that was released way back in 2000 (and having seen a fair number of revisions since then).

New battery and installation for MacBook Air will only run $129

I was pretty harsh on Apple’s new Macbook Air yesterday, which feels a little odd for me. I’m generally an Apple enthusiast and give them the benefit of the doubt on new products. However, that doesn’t mean that I won’t go on a rant when they release something like this that just doesn’t seem like a logical purchase. Anyway, I thought I’d give an update on one negative feature that I pointed out in my post yesterday concerning the battery.
