I’m not really counting or anything, but I’ll let you in on a bit of a secret: Christmas is only 49 days away. Sure, a couple of days ago it was Halloween, and we still haven’t gotten past Thanksgiving, but you can’t get around it; the Christmas catalogs and commercials are coming. Don’t even bother decorating for Thanksgiving this year; you might as well just start the Christmas festivities early, which means getting yourself a USB Christmas Decoration Kit. Sorry, there isn’t a kit for Hanukkah just yet.

You know as a kid, a slightly balding man, or a woman, you always wanted a Ferrari, admit it. Well computers are kind of the same; you always wanted power, monstrous power, and a convenient, easy way to interact with it. Well for many of you, that occurred in the past few years when laptops embedded with wireless functions and large amounts or ram and power, enabled programmers, and businesspeople alike to do nearly anything and everything they’ve wanted to.
A4Tech’s Battery Free Wireless Mouse
November 3rd, 2006 by Mike in PC Gadgets, USB Gadgets
The only catch with modern day wireless mice is that you need to have some sort of battery, which means you either have to remember to charge it, or remember to buy extra batteries. Both are hassles. Not anymore though, because A4Tech has come out with a battery-free wireless mouse. And it actually works, although there is a catch.

This online and offline software, if executed in the proper manner could quickly be the first application since Microsoft office, to become a true standard piece of software.
Bits and pieces of this entire application have sprung up here and there, but finally someone seems to have put it all together!
Let’s just hope it also synchs with all our favorite tools (ipod/ical, palm, win CE).
I’m all-atwitter!!
Logitech Alto makes notebook usage more comfy
November 2nd, 2006 by Edwin in PC Gadgets, USB Gadgets
Some people have moved on to the world of notebooks without ever wanting to return to desktops ever again, citing portable productivity as their main reason. With notebooks encroaching on desktop territory in homes and offices worldwide, Logitech has seen the need for a peripheral that will provide a much more comfortable notebook user experience with the Alto, a one-piece notebook riser which features an integrated, full-sized keyboard, bringing the notebook screen level with the user’s eyes while removing the cons of typing on a cramped notebook keyboard.
USB Digital Microscope
November 1st, 2006 by Tiago in Miscellaneous Gadgets, USB GadgetsIf you are the type of person that enjoys to see microscopic views as a hobby, than I just found the perfect cool gadget for you. It is cheap and supposedly works pretty good, (for a hobby of course) so don’t think that this device can be used professionally. Maybe you will see it during some CSI series because they usually make up a lot of stuff there, but besides that point, I can only see the Digital Microscope being used for fun and experiments or maybe as a gift for kids that will learn something while using it.
So, the USB Digital Microscope is like a mini-camera that can zoom in and out with 3 different magnification levels, the lowest being 100X while the highest is 300X and in the middle we have 200X. Besides being able to zoom images, it can also do the same thing with videos. Read the rest of this entry »
Glider Mouse looks like Air Ping Pong handle
November 1st, 2006 by Edwin in PC Gadgets, USB Gadgets
Bring some much needed relief to your beleaguered wrist with this revolutionary ergonomic Glider Mouse from Hela. It does not look like any ordinary mouse at all, instead it takes on the shape of one of those air ping pong handles that you find at a local seedy arcade nearby. The Glider Mouse aims to provide you with the optimal working posture (no, slouching in a La-z-Boy chair is definitely not it) via the central mouse position, practically eliminating the potentially painful motion of moving your hand over to use the mouse. Since it is placed in the center and comes in a uniform design, both left- and right-handers are able to use it without running into any incompatibility issues.
