A Treadmill Desk With Multi-Screen Displays

There’s no doubt about it. Treadmill desks are an awesome way to keep the internet surf flowing as your get your heart pumping. We’ve covered an assortment of treadmill desks over the years, but there is one feature which is lacking from each and every one of them. Where is our multi-screen support?
So many hardcore geeks these days are using upwards of three or more displays for their computing rig, yet when it’s time to jog on the treadmill for an hour, we’re forced to downgrade to a single monitor. What sort of quality of life is this? The JW Treadmill desk offers support for multiple displays as well as providing an ample amount of surface space for any knick-knacks or paperwork.

The SIX lighted chair looks super comfortable

It seems today I have a thing for odd office furniture, I swear I didn’t actually start out the day deciding to write up electronically charged furniture. First there was the Executive Desk, and now this odd little chair. However, although the desk is up for sale, this chair is still a concept design. The SIX chair was inspired by architectural designs, such as the Eiffel tower. The odd little chair can be equipped with a light to give a nice glowing effect in your office.

The Executive Desk comes equipped with moving gears

I’ve been desk shopping for the greater part of a week now and been grumbling excessively about all the ones that are poorly set up. Most have no keyboard drawer and don’t understand that some people enjoy having more than one monitor. Not only is this desk set up well as far as enough space for a decent amount of monitors as well as a keyboard drawer, it is way cooler than anything I’ve seen on the market. The Executive Desk is apparently a fully functional visual and kinetic desk as well.

Canon Foldable Mouse

Canon might be a little too late to the table with this gadget. Their new Foldable Mouse promises to combine three gadgets together into one; a compact mouse, a calculator, and a numeral pad. Three commonly used gadgets at that, but the problem starts when you actually think about the integration and what we already have provided to us.
Every modern day OS has a speedy built-in calculator included right with the software. And sure, a numeral type-pad would be cool to rock with your laptop, but how many people actually use numbers that often on a laptop anyway? Accountants, we can see this being an awesome gadget for you, but for the average joe, it doesn’t seem like it serves that much of a purpose.

Zpen from Dane-Elec

Pens are still an essential business tool to have these days – they’re pretty handy when you need to jot down something quickly and don’t happen to have a computer or notebook to fire up Notepad in time. In addition, pens are still the main method of getting your John Hancock down in legal documents, although there are certain companies that use fingerprint readers to take the next step. The Zpen from Dane-Elec brings a new dimension to the humble pen by elevating handwritten notes to the digital age. This is a wireless digital pen that is able to transfer handwritten notes as well as drawings over to a computer within seconds, doing away with the need to scan a piece of paper.

Sure, Borrow My Pen, But I Bet You’ll Give It Back

I’ve had it up to here (insert imaginary height chart here) with people stealing my pens! I gave it to you for three seconds, not your entire lifetime. I’m especially sick of having to high-tail it to my nearest office supply store (since Coolest Gadgets doesn’t have a supply cabinet to steal from) just so I can buy a new pack of pens which will eventually be stolen.
Well, not anymore! I’m taking a stand against all of you pen hoarders. I mean, really, where do all of these pens wind up? Is there some crazy pen collector who has piles of writing utensils? Don’t get me wrong. I love pens. I used to be quite the pen connoisseur. That was until I had my Dr. Grip stolen from me one too many times. Now? I just get these “Borrow My Pen?” writing tools. Pen thievery doesn’t happen nearly as much anymore.

HP monitor does a stunning 1 billion colors

Granted, cell phone displays these days on the high end segment are able to display a whopping 16.7 million colors, and that specification doesn’t really matter since the display is so small to begin with. What about your monitor? Surely it can do more than that, but HP’s latest offering will definitely put whatever number your monitor can muster to shame. The new HP DreamColor Display (we mentioned it briefly earlier this week) is a new LCD screen which is able to offer a whopping 1 billion colors at the very minimum in a 30-bit, LED-backlit display. Of course, it would be a waste to purchase this just for word processing and surfing the Internet, so you must realize that this targets those who deal with plenty of colors in their everyday work including designers and animators. This phenomenal display is now shipping worldwide for $3,499.
