The Desktop Coffee Maker

Getting up from your desk chair to make a caffeine run can sometimes be obnoxious, and occasionally impossible because of time constraints. With this little Desktop Coffee Maker you could keep wired all day long. Regrettably the more coffee you drink, the more bathroom runs your going to have to make, but at least you aren’t having to get up for coffee too. That is of course provided your boss actually allows the coffee maker to stay on your desk.

Panasonic ups ante with new Toughbook line
When it comes to tough notebooks, only one company comes into mind for most people – Panasonic and their range of Toughbooks. The name itself gives the game away, I suppose, and today we have major updates to the Toughbook line, spearheaded by the thin and light F8, the T8 which is a tablet alternative that you can use as a bullet proof shield (I jest, but you get the idea on just how tough it is) as well as the extremely portable W8 that targets those who are always on the go. The common denominator would be the number 8, and the 8 Series Toughbook mobile computers will all feature the Gobi 3G mobile broadband solution courtesy of Qualcomm that allows one to remain connected to high speed mobile Internet no matter where they are.

Boxing Skeleton ball point pen
With Halloween coming around pretty soon, you will find a whole slew of commercial items released to celebrate this holiday. Among them is the Boxing Skeleton ball point pen, where pressing its button will automatically cause its eyes to glow red while boxing away, hoping to score a TKO on whoever is in its path. Something to while away the long and boring hours at the office, no doubt. I wouldn’t use this to place my John Hancock on official documents in the corporate boardroom though. Strangely enough, the pen itself costs $2.49 but the shipping fee is a whopping $5.
Japanese Popping Edamame Keychain
Folks with itchy fingers who need to keep them occupied while performing other tasks such as going through a list of numbers or talking to somebody over the phone will definitely find the Japanese Popping Edamame Keychain to be a boon.
Each Japanese Popping Edamame Keychain has three beans. The end beans are small and immature. The middle bean, however, has one of 12 random faces printed on it. Why? We don’t know, but there is nothing like the smile it puts on your face. And the beans are connected to some sort of elastic band, so they pop back in to be popped again as many times as you want. It sounds silly, but trust us, these things are highly addictive. They are also a great way to keep your fingers busy during boring meetings and your mood positive – because no one can frown when their edamame smiles.
ThinkGeek is currently selling these pointless yet fun keychains for $8.99 each.
