Cell Phone Sim Card Spy

Have you ever deleted an important file that you didn’t have backed up anywhere? When that happens it’s horrible, but you can’t blame anyone but yourself for not keeping proper backups. However, if you delete something like an important text message, you at least have the comfort of knowing that there’s no easy way to keep constant backups of those. What’s great is that now there is a device that will allow you to recover deleted text messages from your phone.

LG Voyager: I touched, I texted, I loved

by Mark R

LG Voyager Second Shot

I discussed LG Voyager before, and I had a chance to try it out as a user last weekend. What I found was the LG Voyager could easily be my next cell phone.

The first thing you should know about the LG Voyager is that it is the first phone on the market with a touchscreen and QWERTY keyboard. The touchscreen works just like the iPhone, but the Voyager has a vibrating touch system so the user has some tactile feedback.

The phone then opens for a second screen with the QWERTY keyboard. This comes in handy when you surf the Internet with the HTML browser, and you can even flip it to the touchscreen for some net-surfing with just your finger. Surfing the net on this gadget takes some getting used to, but it is worth it for the convenience.

Not only does the Voyager do Internet well, but it has an excellent 2.0 Megapixel camera with both video and still capability. The Voyager can also do Bluetooth as well as music.

Other features include the V CAST Mobile TV, and the Voyager has an extendable antenna for it. This service costs a little more in the subscription, as does the Navigator function.

YoungToys Zeki toy phone

by Edwin

Guess even the young won’t be able to escape from the world of cell phones, with YoungToys of Korea releasing a digital toy phone known as Zeki. It uses Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, enabling a mom and kid to communicate with each other as long as they remain within 80 meters of each other. The Zeki also boasts data exchange support between the two, MP3 playback, audio and video recording, SMS (!) and a built-in alarm. No idea if the young one knows how to start texting yet though…

CB radio updated with Bluetooth capabilities

by Chris

Cobra Bluetooth CB

There was once a time when the CB radio was considered high-tech. While the technology is still in use today, it’s tough to see it as cutting-edge. Don’t worry though, Cobra Electronics has brought the CB into the 21st Century by adding in Bluetooth.

Watch TV on your mobile phone with the PacketVideo Mobile Broadcast Receiver

PacketVideo Mobile Broadcast Receiver

Do you enjoy watching videos on your mobile phone or other mobile device? I’ve watched a few clips here and there, but I generally try to avoid such strain on my eyes. Honestly, if I’m going to stare at something that small, it’s going to be my DS. However, for those of you that want to watch TV on your mobile phone (without settling for whatever channels your wireless carrier offers) you might be interested in PacketVideo’s Mobile Broadcast Receiver.

Svelte 3G phone from LG

by Edwin

lg-orange-phones.jpgWe all know that Samsung is pretty much the champion when it comes to slim handsets, thanks to the massive marketing push of its Ultra II line of cell phones. LG isn’t too far behind though, having rolled out a 13.3mm thin 3G handset known as the LG-KH1800. Alternatively, you don’t have to call it by the long model number since it can be better remembered as the ‘Orange color phone’ whenever you’re in Korea, thanks to its enhanced orange colored keypad. Features include SMS service support, telephone directory, alarm setting, a multitasking button, 3G WCDMA automatic roaming service, MP3 playback, text viewer, a camera and an electronic dictionary just in case you come up short on words during a debate. Anyone wants to see this head across the Pacific?

T-Mobile offers a buffet

by Edwin

tmobile-3g.jpgT-Mobile has decided to offer a buffet style of calls, where $99.99 will net you unlimited calling and text messages from the 21st of this month onwards. Guess this move can be seen from a mile away, as T-Mobile is finally on par with AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and Helio where an unlimited call plan is concerned. Thankfully this one allows you to type till your tiny QWERTY keyboard gets all faded and thin without having to fork out an additional cent. Imagine – you’re basically paying T-Mobile for the right to spam.
