Mermory Stick Lego

January 24th, 2006 by Al in Audio/Video Gadgets, Electronic Gadgets, Mobile Phones, PC Gadgets, Wacky Gadgets

Memory Stick Lego HolderBefore my Sinclair Spectrum, Lego was my all time favourite toy. Even my Lego train-set was cool, in fact there wasn’t a single thing that I couldn’t make (when I was 7). Why am I going on about a toy that must be at least 50 years old? Today I saw a picture of a prototype memory card holder that looked just like, guess what, Lego blocks :)

The company behind these keychain cases, Best Rubber Productions have also made such classics as the Silicone Rubber Bracelet, the Silicone Rubber Cover for the iPod and the Silicone Rubber Ashtray. So you can probably guess what these little Lego key chains are made out of. Like conventional Lego they are also stackable so if you have several SD Cards or memory sticks you can store them all together in an infinitely expandable Lego house :) .

Orgasmic Ringtones

January 22nd, 2006 by Al in Mobile Phones, Wacky Gadgets

Orgasmic RingtonesThis is another why didn’t I think of that kind of post, Orgasmatones, the personalised Orgasmic Ring-tones.

These ringtones are certain to get your attention and are a whole load less annoying than the crazy frog. As the ringtones are personalised for each name they don’t sound like Steven Hawkins is saying your name mid ecstatic moan.

To get the ringtone you just need to go to the Orgasmatone site, enter your name, pay the fee (£2.50 about $4) and download. If you’re name isn’t available you can submit it and they’ll get one of 6 sexy (well they sound it but sounds can be very deceiving) young women to scream your name in pleasure. Though we know she’s faking it :) .

Sony Ericsson Walkman 550i

When Sony Ericsson released W800i, their very first camera phone designed specifically as a lifestyle gadget with telecommunication capability. The W800i was put together in light of the popularization of MP3 players and a booming industry of online music stores. Self Destructing Text Messages

December 10th, 2005 by Al in Mobile Phones, Spy Stuff

Mission Impossible
do….do….do….dooo….do.. ,
do….do….do….dooo….do.. ,
Yeah sorry I never was any good at music (or English to that matter) but imagine the sound track to Mission Impossible as that’s what this post reminds me of, self destructing text messages.

It’s been a said on a fair few spy movies (and cartoons) “This message will self destruct in 30 seconds” generally followed 30 seconds later by a smoking cassette recorder (I think they had those in the 60s and 70s ). But a company is bringing the self destructing message in to the mobile arena.

Matchbox Sized Projectors

December 10th, 2005 by Al in Audio/Video Gadgets, Electronic Gadgets, Mobile Phones

Tiny Upstream Projector
Tiny (size not brand) projectors seem to be the in thing at the moment, with the Samsung SP-P300MK Pocket Imager due to be released very early next year. A Finish company Upstream Engineering are working on new projector technology that will make the size of Samsung seem unbelievably large.

The picture above is a non-working prototype to demonstrate the size that the Upstream projector will likely be. Comparing it to the AA battery makes it look the size of 2 matchboxes which is pretty diddy. One of the techniques used in this miniaturization is by using LEDs instead of conventional projector bulbs which will also reduce power requirements.
