Join Mimique Cell Phone is the Old with the New
I suppose that whoever came up with the name of the Mimique was probably looking for some fancy way of saying mimic. The Mimique concept cellular phone from RKS certainly “mimics” several aspects of both old-school and contemporary cellular phones.
As far as old school goes, the Mimique phone has the distinctive shape of those ten-year-old phones, down to that side antenna that hopefully did something.
As for the newest design influences, the Mimique has full touchscreen capability. One of the reasons why RKS designers decided to go with the old-school shape was they thought the iPhone and iPod touch looked too much alike. They wanted to make a touchscreen phone that actually looked like a phone, not some other mobile device.

Bluetooth 2.0 Portable Handsfree Car Kit
I guess most states have long outlawed the use of cell phone use while driving, and one risks a hefty fine from the authorities if they decide to throw caution to the wind by not picking up some sort of handsfree solution. Why toy with the chance of losing money to the traffic authorities through fines when you can put that money to better use elsewhere? Verizon Wireless rolls out Motorola W755
I seriously wonder what the folks at Motorola are doing, as releasing phones such as the W755 over Verizon Wireless isn’t going to win them any points with the consumers anytime soon, and it looks as though time is running out for the Big M as they suffer from their own success – the RAZR. It has been a fair number of years since the RAZR hit the market, and since then many variations as well as newer models based on the original design have rolled out, but none of them truly embodied the spirit of the original RAZR, causing Motorola to lose market share to its other rivals while seeing its stock price plummet just like how the greenback is compared to other major currencies around the world. HAVA Mobile Player
I think that we’re all getting to the point where we want to have complete control over our television watching experience. No more watching a television show whenever “they” want us to. I suppose that you could buy a TiVo or other DVR brand if you want that, but some want to take it step further and go mobile.
So why not have something on your mobile telephone that allows you to watch and control all of the home television channels and services from anywhere? I believe the Slingbox already does this service, but so does the HAVA.
The HAVA Mobile Player is a Symbian S60 optimized version of the HAVA Player that was originally designed to work with PCs and other mobile devices. The most outstanding feature is the control over DVR programming, and a user can even program it over a distance.

Longest Mobile Phone Ever
How disproportionately long does a phone have to be to lose its “mobile” title? Apparently conceptual phones of the future might push the form factors of phones to the limit.
Or so is the case with Tamer Koseli’s Super Phone, which has an extra long design which both increases screen size and functionality (we never said it did so practically!) In fact, the Super Phone has enough room for two OLED displays on one continuous surface.
