Desktop USB-powered Drumming Santa

December 10th, 2005 by Anita in Miscellaneous Gadgets, PC Gadgets

drummingsanta

Some people have given Santa a bad review for his drumming efforts, but I on the other hand love this little fellow. It is a great new way to enjoy Santa and some favorite Christmas songs.

Santa drums along with the beat of Jingle Bells, The First Noel, Silent Night and more. Perfect for putting you in the holiday mood.

For all of you that love new USB gadgets, you will be glad to learn he plugs right in to your USB port so he can drum away for your listening pleasure while you are hard at work at your computer.

tiretagz

If you are into cars and new gadgets as well then you are sure to enjoy the way these new TireTagz give your hotrod a whole new look.

These TireTags were originally made for cars that were racing in the Indianapolis 500 for advertisers. They use complex electronic circuitry and high frequency LED’s to create awesome images, words, patterns and animations if you desire. All of this is done within the wheels of your car while you are driving down the road.

Credit Card Tool Kit

December 9th, 2005 by Al in Miscellaneous Gadgets

Credit Card Tool Kit
I’ve just started my Christmas shopping which is a great excuse to browse for cheap and original gadgets (not that I need an excuse), finding a gadget gift for gran mothers is pretty tricky but I reckon grand dads will appreciate this credit card sized tool kit.

The Tool Lite II (yet another version 2) measures a tiny 3 3/8″ x 2 1/4″ and is about 1/8″ thick (should that be thin) yet it still manages to pack in a decent assortment or useful (and not so useful) tools. The black casing is made from tough Zytel so will be able to take more hammering than the average credit card this season.

novaPDF Lite PDF Creator

December 8th, 2005 by Keith in Miscellaneous Gadgets, Software

novaPDF

Adobe Acrobat has been the reknown popular PDF Creator for Windows. For some, users may just buy them off the shelves, but to others where financial is a little constrained, Adobe Acrobat just seems too dear to be purchased in a legal way. Well, instead of resorting to illegal downloads, or purchasing pirated copies of Adobe Acrobat, novaPDF is available for download freely and yet does the job equally well in creating professional quality documents in industry-standard PDF file format.

AquaSnorkel

December 7th, 2005 by Marc in Miscellaneous Gadgets, Wacky Gadgets

AquaSnorkel
Here’s a new twist on an old idea - it seems that having a snorkel stick to the boring job of letting you breathe underwater is so last year. In the new age of multifunctional devices the AquaSnorkel includes an FM radio to keep you amused as you float face down.

Underwater radio? Yep, by using “unique bone conduction” technology you really can hear the top 40 through your fillings now, as the sound is conducted through the teeth and into the inner ear.

3-in-1 Rotating Game Table

December 6th, 2005 by Anita in Miscellaneous Gadgets

gametable

This is one game table that if you are anything like me and played foosball you are sure to enjoy. I remember playing all of these games, foosball, billiards, and hockey, and always wished I had one of each at home to play. But, I of course could not fit all three in one room and my family didn’t want to turn our house into a game room. But, now with the 3 in 1 rotating game table you only need enough room for one game table to enjoy all three of your favorite games.

Lifestraw

December 6th, 2005 by Marc in Miscellaneous Gadgets

Lifestraw
Surprisingly enough this could well be a contender for my personal “Coolest gadget of 2005″ even though it’s devoid of batteries and blinking lights. Why? Because it’s a stunning example of a simple, well thought out and above all useful application of technology and design.

The lifestraw is a water filter. As with all the best technology though the devil is in the detail. Water filters have been around for years but they’re big, expensive and need constant replacement of the filters.

December 5th, 2005 by Anita in Miscellaneous Gadgets

stringlessguitar

Do you have a budding rock in roll star in your house or maybe a wanna be rock star that needs a few a lessons? If so then you must get one of the stringless guitar’s that will teach them how to play the guitar so it does not sound like a cat with his tail caught in the door.

This stringless guitar has its own built-in tutor and a series of buttons along the neck for fretwork. It also has six rods that are touch sensitive at the bridge for strumming. The buttons on the neck will light up to show the correct finger placement while the twelve lighted frets will teach how to strum and the chords needed to play all your favorite tunes.
