R2-D2 preps your laundry for washing
R2-D2 seems to be everywhere these days, and this time he even keeps you dirty laundry organized by virtue of being a laundry basket.
Does your laundry have a nasty habit of piling up on your floor when you least expect it? Luckily these stylish Star Wars R2-D2 laundry baskets are imported from Japan and are here to assist. You get a set of two; One classic blue R2-D2 and one red R2-D1 (R2-M5 for you purists). These handy droids do all the work. Simply remove your laundry from the floor, and sort into light sides and dark sides (we prefer R2-D1 for the darks) by opening each droid’s head and dropping in your clothing. When a droid is full, take the contents and dump it in your washing machine with some detergent. Now press “start”. Voila! amazing mechanized laundry service at it’s best.
He retails for $39.99, and the pricing structure doesn’t really care whether you’re on the light or dark side of the Force.
CableOrganizer helps geeks out this holiday season

CableOrganizer knows what a mess things can be in your home and office, especially where cables and wires seem to have a life of their own when it comes to getting themselves all tangled up. They have come up with a holiday season guide to help you get your life in order, and if you’re still hanging onto an archaic wired mouse, using cheap headphones for your iPod or even have a plethora of charging devices to manage, this holiday gift guide is just the thing for you. They aren’t only good for Christmas, but would make a very prudent and practical purchase all year round.

Toilet Tunes – Music for your throne

When you’re in the bathroom doing your business, sometimes it’s nice to have a little extra noise. Lets be honest, now and then things can get a bit noisy. Sure, you can put a radio or CD player on the back of the toilet, but that wouldn’t be nearly as interesting as Toilet Tunes.

Toshiba lays claim to thinnest LCD TV

At least for the moment – the Toshiba 40XF355D LCD TV measures no more than 23mm thin, bringing 1,920 x 1,080 resolution to your living room. Looks extremely fragile to me – I’d say get this only if you do not have any wild kids running around the house and love nothing better than give the ol’ pigskin a toss, particularly in the living room. This Toshiba offering comes with a trio of HDMI ports for all your High Definition needs, an integrated digital TV tuner and Toshiba’s proprietary picture processing algorithm, all of which retail for £1,197 in Europe.

Christmas tree ornament gets teched up
Who would’ve thought the humble Christmas tree bauble would end up with an LCD display? Well the future has already arrived, and this interesting Christmas tree decoration (I sworn I’ve seen it sometime before somewhere…) houses a 1.5″ LCD display with enough internal memory to store up to 50 different pictures – surely this is more interesting than the tangled mess of glowing bulbs. Each of these baubles will retail for $34.95 and run on two AA batteries – talk about chalking up a large investment if you’ve got say, 50 of these on your tree!
