Talking Toilet Paper

December 13th, 2005 by Anita in Home Gadgets, Miscellaneous Gadgets, Wacky Gadgets

talktp

What a great gadget for employee restrooms or for all those guys that leave the lids up at home. The talking toilet paper will give out your special message to anyone that needs to use the toilet paper.

As soon as they pull on the toilet paper your recorded message will be heard such as “Put down that lid”, “Wash your hands before returning to work”, or even “That is no place for your Barbie doll”. See, it can even prevent children from playing in the toilet.

You can change the message as often as you like since you can record and then re-cord. This would be great for any party where you would like to leave special message for your guests such as “Happy New Year”, “I am not a barf bag”, or any other cute phrase you can think of.

Pet Plants

December 13th, 2005 by Anita in Home Gadgets, Miscellaneous Gadgets, Wacky Gadgets

petplant
I found the cutest gadgets around, if you can call them gadgets. I guess it would be according to how you look at them. These adorable pet plants can be carried around with you every place you go and bring you joy.

The pet plants come from the Orient and they seem to be a huge hit in the UK. Why do they get all the cool stuff before we do in America? They are living miniature bonsai plants that grown in peat moss and are placed in the small clear cylindrical capsule so you can take them with you.

This would be a great way to teach children a bit about responsibility and they will enjoy caring for and watching their own pet plants grow. And the best part is they are much cheaper than a pet dog or cat.

Spider Catcher

December 12th, 2005 by Anita in Home Gadgets, Miscellaneous Gadgets

spider
If you are anything like me, you hate spiders. Every time I see one I call my dog, she loves catching spiders. However, she is not always near or the spider gets away before she can catch it, so I end up trying to kill it and then have a nasty squashed spider to clean off the wall or the floor. In addition, if you do let your cat or dog get the spider if it is in places, as your bathtub, then you have to clean the bathtub before you can a nice warm bath. Sometimes, these pesky little spiders can be in places like your ceiling where neither or cat or dog could reach even if they wanted. With the Spider Catcher, you do not have to worry if your cat or dog is near enough to catch the spider or clean up after you squash it on the wall.

Electric Jar Opener

December 8th, 2005 by Anita in Kitchen Gadgets

electricjaropener
I don’t know about the other ladies out there, but I get real tired of asking the man of the house to open jars for me. I tried several different gimmicks to open them such as holding under hot water, holding it with a towel, and trying all kinds of gadgets to open them and nothing worked. I always wondered when someone would come up with a gadget that would help us open up these stubborn jars short of dynamite.

Well, Black and Decker finally heard our pleas and created an electric jar opener. Now, you can open any type of jar with only one hand and a touch of a button to open every lid in your house. No more yelling to your husband, “Honey, would you please open this for me?” You can now be just a bit more independent and not have to rely on a strong man to open jars, unless you just want him to feel macho.

Mind Bog-ling Bog Seat

December 6th, 2005 by Al in Home Gadgets, Wacky Gadgets

Swash Toilet
Do you have a man in your life who you just can’t think of anything to buy for them? Well, have we got news for you! The Swash contoured, heated toilet seat. Not only does it contour to the user’s rear end, it also keeps it lovely and warm whilst carrying out the usual ablutions.

Furthermore, you don’t even have to reach over for the loo roll as this system also washes the old derriere with a gentle (or rather more vigorous if preferred) jet of water – you then just sit back and wait for the warm air jets to dry you off. Particularly useful when you discover that the bog roll’s all gone as well!
