You wake up in the morning, go into your kitchen, put the radio on and make your breakfast. Nothing wrong with that but what if you had a toaster, with a built in radio so you not only save time and energy, but you have more space in your kitchen!

We wrote about solar powered ventilation for the car a little while ago, now it’s the houses turn with the Solarventi: The Green Dehumidifier.
If you’re a dab hand at sewing and want to confuse your needlecraft friends this is the gadget to do it, the inflatable pincushion.
Made out of the same material and having the standard nossle of typical inflatables the pincushion magically doesn’t pop when you stick a needle in it. Well it’s not quite magic, it’s full of polyester instead of air but I’m sure it will fool a few or at least cause raised eyebrows.
The inflatable pincusion is available from Alesina Design, found via Crib Candy

We’ve featured quite a few patio lighting solutions recently, my favourite was the tile lights until I saw these small giant orbs.
The solar powered spheres measure up to 19.7 inches (or 50cm in modern money) and can be set in single color or continual color cycling modes. They’re certain to make any garden an interesting illumination at night,
The spheres are available at Proidee with prices starting at £92.50.
In my house there always seems to be at least one gadget be it phone, laptop, roomba, iPod, camera, the list goes on. Not only does this mean there is a tangle of cables lying around but I often seem to lose chargers.
The PowerStation Cable Organizer aims to solve these problems, by hiding your chargers and most of the accompanying cables and holds your gadgets in place whilst they are charging. A bit like a ChargeBox for your home.
Having a party is great fun. You buy in some party food and beers, put on some party music and wait for guests to arrive. The only draw back to a party is the big clean up. No doubt your mates will have left or be so hung over that they won’t be of any help to you. The best way to help is to tidy as you go.

If the Japanese make the wackiest gadgets, this cool-looking fan from Switzerland perhaps shows that Swiss still make the best engineering gadgets; certainly in terms of function and looks.
