And those numbers don’t just appear in that corner, they are very touchable, just like Braille. So when I get up in the middle of the night, and want to know what time it is, I don’t have to look at my cellular phone or the bright numbers on a clock radio. All I need to do is feel the sheets for the proper time.

Yes, besides the blind, I don’t really see a good use for this product. I mean, if I am too lazy to open my eyes and check the time, I doubt I’ll want to feel the corner of my bed for the time.

I am willing to bet that this concept will not see the light of day. Not only do we not have the technology to make this work, but I just don’t see it working, period.

Still, you got to admire how the controls are on the side of the mattress. I would imagine that these could easily be hit by those who toss and turn in their sleep.

Not to mention the imprints that would appear on your body when you got up the next day. Reminds me of the joke about the Corduroy pillows. They do make head-lines.

It almost seems like manufacturers are getting desperate to sell their kitchen scales.  Lately there have been many kitchen scales that try to have a twist to make them more appealing to the general public.  Well if you use yours a lot, this one will let you listen to you music.  At least with this you can combine your iPod dock with a kitchen scale instead of having two different gadgets cluttering up your countertop.

This Rihanna model isn’t released just yet, but is soon to be sold.  Apparently this kitchen scale is supposed to be the absolute first that does include an iPod dock directly on it.  The dock and scale combo are predicted to release early next year.  On the device itself the dock is directly above the 42.5 x 20 mm LCD display.  Below the safety glass surface is the 2-watt speaker.  When it is released it’ll cost you €70 or about $150 through ADE Germany.

Yes, this is a shower, and none like I’ve ever seen in its shape. Not only that, it has a 3D touchscreen, allowing you to watch a movie while you bathe. The touchscreen enables the user to control the temperature of the water as well as the intensity of the jets.

My source uses the word “3D touchscreen”, but I’m not certain that your movies would be in actual 3D. I mean, do you need to wear special glasses while in the shower, or does the teardrop shape of this tub make it possible to view movies in 3D without glasses?

If so, then I would hate to be just finished shampooing my hair and see the shark from Finding Nemo hovering in front of me. Just imagine playing that one scene from Psycho. I would probably have to clean the shower afterwards, if you know what I mean.

By the way, where is the shower curtain on this thing? Do you have to buy it separately?

You remember all the good old days when all it took to get into your best friend’s treehouse was some secret knock you all formed.  Even if you never experienced that yourself, every little kid wishes for that kind of a code.  Well now as a full grown adult, you can create a similar item that does that for your full sized house.  Don’t worry, it’s a bit more secure than just some guy standing on the other side waiting to turn the lock on your cue.

Helping people find your home is sometimes a bit obnoxious.  I’ve always had to give a very exact description, because I live in an apartment within a house and I don’t have an apartment number on my door.  Which has always made me worry about what’d happen if emergency officials needed to find my door.  This little screw in light controller would solve that by attracting attention to your house and be great for anyone that is just tired of having to explain things so perfectly.
