Last week’s coolest gadget was…

July 2nd, 2009 by Al in Coolest Gadget of the Week, Gadget Competitions

The winner of last week’s coolest gadget competition is the Free Loader Solar Charger.

Want to make a really important call, but your phone has gone flat? iPod died halfway through your favourite song? It’s annoying isn’t it? But now there’s a simple solution to the horror of failing batteries. Simply connect your gadget to the Free Loader Solar Charger using one of the many adaptors supplied, and you can get back on track- it can power a phone for 44 hours! Then you simply leave the Free Loader with its solar panels out in a sunny spot, and bag yourself some spare charge for free. Save the environment and never miss the end of ‘Black Velvet’

Congrats again to gaj-it.com.

Tokyoflash NI Wristwatch is Confusing but oh so Clever

Analogue a little bit too steampunk for you? Digital too much like everyone else? Confuse and baffle everyone with the Tokyoflash NI. Instead of numbers (because that’d be easy right?) this watch uses coloured LEDs to tell the time. It’s basically a puzzle watch- count up the number of dots per row and you’ll work out the time. The person who asked will probably have found a clock by then, but at least you’ll get to look cool and feel a little bit smug…
