E FUN APEN A5 stylus

by Edwin

With so many tablets being released these days, what is your primary mode of interaction with the tablet? I would be so bold as to venture that the most of us use our fingers since that is the most intuitive and convenient. On a side note, I did hear from a friend of mine that if you happen to be walking in the favelas of Brazil, it would be best not to point at anything or anywhere, as it might just get you killed. Can anyone verify that? I digress, and for the more sophisticated among you, here is a stylus that you might want to get to use alongside your tablet – the E FUN APEN A5 stylus. It is said to be the key to unlocking your creative potential as you design, create, draw, write, sketch, and edit on the iPad without missing a beat.

Being extremely natural to use, you are able to write or draw right from the get go without having to go through a steep learning curve or alter your writing habits. Student, educators, business professionals or creative artists should be able to find a use for the $99 E FUN APEN A5 stylus. There is a built-in battery that is said to be able to last up to 90 hours, so you won’t find yourself juicing this up too often.

Mobee Magic Feet inductive charging system

by Edwin

Going wireless is obviously where we’re headed to, and this also applies to wireless charging capabilities of devices these days. Somehow or rather, wireless charging never really seemed to catch on, never mind that (the now defunct) Palm’s Touchstone charger did impress initially but never managed to capture the imagination of the masses. Well you know what they say – if at first you don’t succeed, try again. The Mobee Magic Feet inductive charging system does just that, where it will be able to juice up the batteries which send power to your Bluetooth keyboard, Magic Mouse, and Magic Trackpad – wirelessly. Even better news is you do not need to remove them batteries in the first place.

The Mobee Magic Feet can power up three accessories simultaneously, and since it comes with four USB 2.0 ports, this also functions as a USB hub. On its own when depleted, you will need half a dozen hours to power it, and the $149.90 asking price certainly is not too much to fork out for if you happen to live with a computing ecosystem that comprises devices from nobody else but Apple.

Motion Activated Candy Dispenser

by Edwin

Who does not like candy at all? I am quite sure that dentists secretly love candy deep down inside, simply because their clientele would be far fewer in number if kids do not have easy and unrestricted access to candy these days. Well, unwrapping sweets and chocolates is something that we do often, but there is always a strange fascination with a candy dispenser as automated movement is always interesting to look at (and figure out, for budding engineers). A hand-dispensing feature might be the old school method of doing so, but it certainly is far less hygienic compared to the $39.99 Motion Activated Candy Dispenser.

Being the perfect device for kitchen counters, reception desks and common break rooms, there is a built-in sensor to ensure no grubby or dirty hands will contaminate the stash inside. Purchase a few and you can opt to dispense a range of candies. Too bad it comes in only one color – black, and there is a spill tray to catch the ones which you miss. Just make sure there are enough AA batteries (a quartet is required to run it) available as backup just in case it runs out of juice.

LG has announced that CES 2012 will be the platform where they roll out the LG Smart TV with Google TV, merging the familiarity of Google’s Android OS with the convenience and comfort of LG’s 3D and Smart TV technologies so that you are able to enjoy a whole new and attractive home entertainment option.

Obama Farting Doll

by Edwin

There is one great thing about the US – you can more or less poke fun at the President, whom many tout to be the most powerful man in the world, without getting hauled to court. Such freedoms are definitely not possible at all in countries like North Korea, and with a capitalist mindset here Stateside, why not make light of your leader and earn some money on the side at the same time? This is what the $19.95 Obama Farting Doll is all about, and unlike some of his policies, no hot air can be detected here.

The Pootin’ Tootin’ President Obama Doll is certain to win votes for folks who want something really funny – all you need to do is press the Commander and Chief’s finger, and your ears will soon be greeted with a fart, followed by one out of 21 different, hilarious remarks which will be spewed out randomly. Measuring 9″ in height, each purchase will already come with batteries so you can get started right out of the box. Scary how the very same finger might actually be used to launch a nuclear missile when all peace talks have broken down.
