Holland Electro Wave TV
Talk about a TV dinner – the Holland Electro Wave TV has just been unveiled at IFA 2007, marrying both a TV and a microwave together in a single device. While this idea might seem cool at first, it isn’t really too wise to do so as one device tends to get obsolete before the other. Anyway, for $680 you probably could purchase these devices individually without having them joined together. Essentially, the Wave is a 23 liter microwave oven with an integrated TFT screen and DVD player built right inside. Heck, it even comes with memory card slots that cater to SD, MMC, and MS media.

Outdoor TVs anyone?

Summer time is coming to an end, but in some parts of the world (like Portugal) the sun is still shining like we really are in the middle of the summer, also known as the real hot days. To take advantage of the weather we need to go outdoors, but there is plenty of “stuff” that we can only do indoors, like watching a favorite TV show or DVD.
To take care of that problem, I have found 2 outdoor TVs that are the perfect solution in case you live in a big house with a “garden”, if you live inside an apartment (like myself) just forget about this.
Anyway, the first solution is the cheapest one, but in my opinion it is the best you can get – 12′ wide-screen outdoors theater. As you can imagine, the screen is huge, and so are the speakers that measure 10-inches each and give 120-watt of sound power. The whole kit includes a remote control and a projector with lens cap.

And even though this gadget looks more like Dr. Beverly Crusher’s Tricorder in StarTrek, it’s actually based on Academy Award winning technology from The Lord of the Rings Trilogy.
Allow me to explain.
