Christmas Trees go wireless
If you’re going to lay out $400 for a Christmas tree this year, why not buy a tree with LED lights that can light wirelessly? It’s an exciting technology. Nearly a hundred years ago, Nikola Tesla envisoned a world where power could be broadcasted all around the world. And now, coupling low power LED technology with RF frequency technology is bringing a smaller scale version of that vision to the holidays.

Bluetrek ST1 Bluetooth headset
SRS Labs and ModeLabs Technologies have come to an agreement to include the former’s patented audio and bass enhancement technology for use in the new Bluetrek ST1 Bluetooth headset. What can we find in the Bluetrek ST1 anyways? First off, it is a Bluetooth v1.2 enabled stereo headset, which makes it just about compatible with virtually any Bluetooth enabled product that provides music playback, including cellphones, MP3 players, and computers that support Bluetooth
the neck.

iPhone price in France cemented
According to the company’s Orange mobile subsidiary, Apple’s exclusive provider partner in France, it will be selling unlocked iPhones at that astronomically high price whenever customers turn down the 12- or 24-month service contract. I suppose there is always a silver lining in every cloud – after all, France Telecom CEO Didier Lombard did mention that Orange will be selling unlocked iPhones at a “significantly lower” price compared to the $1,471 quoted by rival T-Mobile in Germany.

Static Electricity Eliminator Saves Your Electronic Gear
It’s that time of year, especially in the upper Midwest where I live. You come into your house from the outdoors, take off your jacket and the first metal object you touch….ZAP!! You get a shock. Or you’re walking around your furnace-heated house (which is most likely carpeted in some way, shape or form) and you again touch a metal or electrical object…ZAP!!! The risk when you walk around in your own home is that most likely, you will be touching your home computer or laptop and risk a device-destroying electrical zap.
Over at ThinkGeek, they sell the Continue reading » Static Electricity Eliminator, which is an ingenious little device that helps ensure that you are “static free”. Static Electricity Eliminator Saves Your Electronic Gear
SolarRoll keeps you charged in the great outdoors

In case you hadn’t noticed, Summer is long gone. However, when it’s sunny and warm out, I like to take my laptop outside and try to do my work in the outdoors. It’s a great change of pace from sitting in my office every day. The only problem is that when my laptop is feeding off of the WiFi access, my battery tends to run down a little faster than I’d like, and park benches never seem to have power outlets. Wouldn’t it be great if you could get your juice from the sun’s rays?

Plasma Bulb Night Light
The Plasma Bulb Night Light is something worth considering instead of a standard bedside table lamp, as it is definitely more than mesmerizing when compared to counting sheep.
The Plasma Bulb Night Light fits lovingly into your 110v US power outlet, and will last for years. It generates light with only a teensy bit of heat, so don’t worry about the kids or your drapes. Just bask in the glow, and sleep easy.
You can pick up this cool looking bedroom addition for $9.99.
Clock-i saves wall space with convergence

I have a clock in almost every room in my house. Honestly, I’m not really sure why, as I generally just check the time on whatever computer I happen to be using. Still, I can’t bring myself to get rid of the old analog clocks that hang on my wall. Aside from clocks, you’ll also generally find pictures on most peoples’ walls. Now if you happen to live in a small apartment, you might be low on wall space, and to make the most of it, you might consider a clock that can also display your photos.

Egg-shaped hand warmer

With the cold chill of winter about to blanket us soon, why not try to keep yourself warm with this cute little egg-shaped hand warmer? A charge of 20 minutes will be able to provide a non-stop heat supply of up to 2 hours. This cute little hand warmer can reach a maximum temperature of 45 degrees Celsius, but unfortunately it cannot be charged via USB but requires a power outlet instead. Chinavasion is selling it for $6.76 each. As for keeping warm, I prefer to down a few shots of whiskey instead.
