November 17th, 2006 by Fred in Audio/Video Gadgets, Electronic Gadgets, Miscellaneous Gadgets, PC Gadgets, USB Gadgets, iPod gadgets

Here’s a great new table by Takafumi Nemoto along the lines of the earlier multipot.plug in table

The really cool thing about this concept is that you can plug in all your electronic devices and then have a place where they look nice as well.

The issue is very important and shocking that more work hasn’t been done on this (I’ve got something brewing in this area myself, look for it before too long!)

By utilizing a better looking location for plugging mobiles, pda’s, ipods, and other electronics, our desks return to looking like,, well desks.

Luminetx VeinViewer sees through skin

November 17th, 2006 by Edwin in Electronic Gadgets

veinviewer.jpgHow many of you big, burly men are willing to face any danger or trial that heads your way, but when it comes to a needle prick, you cower behind the nurse’s skirt no matter how much you want to impress her with your tattoo-laden arm? Sometimes, a bad experience at the hospital or clinic could develop a phobia of needles as an intern fails to find the right vein on your arm, treating you like a pin cushion and venting his frustration on you by being less gentle with each insertion. All this can be a thing of the past now with the VeinViewer from Luminetx.

Candy and video games rock!

November 16th, 2006 by Edwin in Childrens Gadgets, Electronic Gadgets, Gaming Gadgets, Toys

wonkazoid.jpgCandy and video games are what kids love in equal measure, although with the upcoming release of the Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 3, the latter might just pull ahead. The Willy Wonka Candy Factory, noted for its range of chocolates and toothache-inducing candy, has released the WonkaZoid. This is no ordinary electronic handheld game as it acts as a refillable candy dispenser as well. This means you get to munch on your favorite candy while having a great time blasting away on the game.

November 15th, 2006 by Edwin in Electronic Gadgets, Sport

Alarm Clock that takes to the air

November 14th, 2006 by Edwin in Cool Clocks, Electronic Gadgets

flying-alarm-clock.jpgWe all know how getting out of bed can be a chore for the less driven personality (that makes up the most of us), and more often than not we view alarm clocks as irritating devices that blare their blasted tune incessantly until we have to physically shut them up. The Flying Alarm Clock has certainly proven it’s mettle as a formidable device that is more than capable of waking up even the most battle hardened sleeper, as it literally takes to the skies (or as far as your ceiling permits), flitting around with the noise of an annoying mosquito in it’s efforts to jolt you out of your slumber.

New pinball machine comes with plasma display

November 13th, 2006 by Edwin in Electronic Gadgets, Gaming Gadgets

ultra-pin.jpgAny self-respecting arcade operator would have a number of pinball machines as their disposal, as there is just something special about the clanging bells, the shrill rings, and the thrill of watching your points edge closer and closer and eventually overtaking the high score, making you king of the hill until some pimply, pubescent kid comes by, drops in a quarter, and starts ringing up the score at the speed of the entire country’s Walmart cash registers operating simultaneously. Ultra Pin has introduced a new twist to a classic game, using modern technology to bring us digital pinball.
