We looked at the LED Party Bottle Chiller yesterday, but for 15 quid more, you can actually pick up the Deluxe Party Bottle Chiller that cools down your booze in just five minutes - which is pretty darn fast by any standard if you ask me. Heck, you don’t even need to purchase any ice to get this device going - just set the number of minutes you want the water to swirl in order to cool down your stash of booze. There is even a waiters’ friend corkscrew/bottle opener hidden at the back of the unit for easy opening. It definitely doesn’t look as tacky as the LED Party Bottle Chiller, and goes one up on it by featuring a double wall to avoid condensation. Drink up!
Drinking Gadgets
We seem to be finding more and more gadgets related to beer and drinking. As drinking is an activity everybody at CG seems to enjoy we thought it was only sensible to have a drinking gadgets section.
Deluxe Party Bottle Chiller
August 23rd, 2007 by Edwin in Drinking Gadgets, Electronic GadgetsSuck UK Shot Gun Hip-Flask
August 23rd, 2007 by Edwin in Drinking Gadgets
I know there are times when we just get so nervous, having a shot of whiskey helps calm the nerves. The Suck UK Shot Gun Hip-Flask could help you out in this manner, measuring 130mm x 70mm x 20mm.
Drinking whisky from a hip flask can damage your health - but it’s not as bad as putting a gun in your mouth when you are feeling low. Now you can do both! Have a drink or 2 with a gun to your mouth, slightly odd - but the Shot Gun Hip Flask looks fantastic.
I love the “Not an ideal gift for children” bit. Perhaps common sense is not that common after all? Pick up this stainless steel Suck UK Shot Gun Hip-Flask for £9.99.

Wine Bug scuttles to the table
August 21st, 2007 by Edwin in Drinking Gadgets, Home Gadgets, Wacky Gadgets
Now isn’t this a beauty? The Wine Bug (it looks more like a dog to me, four legs and all) holds a solitary bottle of wine while looking good doing it. Pouring some wine out is as easy as lifting up the tail for simple elegance. Each of these Wine Bugs are hand crafted from steel and have been coated to prevent rusting from occurring. They’re currently on sale now at $29 a pop, shaving $10 off the retail price.
Frog crushes cans
August 20th, 2007 by Edwin in Drinking Gadgets, Home Gadgets, Wacky Gadgets
No, the amphibian that I’m talking about here is not some mutated giant frog, but instead is a foot-operated can crusher that makes short work of all aluminum tin cans. All you need to do is extend its legs to the maximum height, place the can right underneath its belly, and stand on it with one foot. Your body weight would be able to crush any can easily in an instant, making it easier to transport these to the recycling center. You can pick one up for approximately $23.

Spiral Wine Cellars
August 18th, 2007 by Sam in Drinking Gadgets, Home Gadgets
If, like many people, you don’t have the luxury of having a cellar in which to store your precious bottles of vintage wine, there is now a solution.
Spiral Cellars can come into your home and excavate a hole directly under your floor (be it in the kitchen, lounge, garage, or any other ground floor room) in which you can store upto 1,600 bottles of wine down a spiral stairway cellar system. The stairway is a watertight, pre-cast cylindrical system which is installed into said excavated hole. They use the earth as a natural insulator and they use an air-flow system meaning no power is needed. This ensures optimum temperatures can be maintained in order to keep your precious vino in tip top condition.
