Digital Albums for those on the go
For those of us who travel frequently for holidays living the good life, many of our friends would love to see pictures of all the exotic places where we’ve gone to. Instead of going through archives of digital photos and printing them out, why not carry those in a Digital Album like the one you see here? Available in Tan and Black colors to look like a standard photo album, the Digital Album retails for £179 each.
This portable device is a digital photo gallery that can be taken everywhere with you. It has a 7 inch screen and you don’t even need to worry about hooking it up to your PC to upload new photos – it can be done on the spot by connecting it to your digital camera or by inserting an SD card. Even without any extra memory cards the Album still packs a whopping 4GB of memory (that’s up to 40,000 images), and it can be expanded to a staggering 20GB. We can’t even begin to try and work out how many images that amount of memory could store (not because we’re lazy, we’re just terrible at maths). It can playback your photos one at a time or, if you just can’t resist making your friends jealous, you can use the slideshow function. It can even be charged anywhere in the world via USB or by using the handily included universal charger.
Grandparents would also do well to tote this around considering how they love showing off pictures of their third generation to friends as well as random strangers.
The Digital Photo Frame Pencil Cup

Digital photo frames are a great way to show off pictures of your kids and family while you’re at work. The down side is that they take up extra desk space, which isn’t usually an issue. However, there are some cases where desk space is strongly needed or you just might prefer a work area free of excessive clutter. This cup allows for you to have a spot to hold your pens and pencils as well as have a small photo frame right there on your desk.

Talk about a truly multi-purpose device to hit the streets of UK – the O2 Joggler. While the name itself might not be too endearing, the Joggler is jam packed with features for home use, and is touted to be a first-of-its-kind device that we don’t really have a description for it. How does one classify a device that is all of the above, anyways? To know more about the O2 Joggler, head on right after the jump for the nitty gritty.

Pocket Album Deluxe from Digital Foci
This isn’t the first time that I have reported on the Pocket Album by Digital Foci, and I am glad the company gave me the opportunity to try out the Pocket Album Deluxe.
The Pocket Album Deluxe has an OLED 2.8 inch screen, which brings out the beauty of digital photo files with a contrast level of 10,000 to 1. Downloading the pictures to the Pocket Album Deluxe was simple, as the frame comes with special software that the user needs no CD for.
This program works right out of the box. All a user needs to do is simply plug in the Pocket Album Deluxe into his or her computer via USB to mini-USB cord, and the software program can be downloaded from there.
I couldn’t find any way to get the pictures to the frame without downloading the program. This is different than most picture frames, which are often recognized by the computer as a thumb drive.

GiiNii 8-inch Multimedia Digital Picture Frame
GiiNii has unveiled some interesting products at last CES, and you can read here for our interesting encounter of breaking the Movit. It appears that GiiNii has forgiven us, as they offered me a review of their 8-inch Multimedia Digital Picture Frame.
This Digital Picture Frame from GiiNii does not require a PC connection in order to work. To test this out, I inserted the SD memory card from my cellular phone and I got an instant slideshow. I was surprised that worked so well, so I inserted a thumb drive and I got another instant slideshow. Clearly, GiiNii succeeded in creating a frame that is both “user-friendly” and “plug-and-play”.

Amex Digital SP-7
We have covered the Digital Picture Frames with a built-in printer before, such as the Keian Japan P71-A2-AP. It would appear that Amex Digital is getting on this digital frame/printer bandwagon with the SP-7.
What makes the Amex Digital SP-7 different from other digital picture frames isn’t just the printer, but it is made of Acrylic/Wood. It also has a seven-inch 16:9 TFT color LCD display with 800 x 480 resolution. You can download your pictures to the frame via USB, and you can also use the MS/MMC/SD, XD/CF card reader.
The user has the option of making a slide show. There is also the option of music and video playback, all of which is accessible with the included remote control. The user can adjust the volume on built-in speakers, and the brightness on the picture.

Digi-Mug reminds you of family
Just how many objects do you need in your office to remind you that you’re now a family man, and you have to do all in your power to hold down your job in these economically challenging times? Most of us bring photos of our families to the office and place it on a desk, but with the Digi-Mug, you’re able to avert your gaze away from the new secretary each morning as you mix your cuppa to focus on your family instead. There is no word on pricing, and I’m not too sure just how well the memory chip inside is able to withstand the heat and cold throughout the years.

The retro QTV Digital Photo Frame

Digital picture frames have started to become just popular enough, that better styles are coming out. I was definitely happy when they started selling them with frames that at least appeared to be wood. The shiny black plastic never really blended well with my living room. Well now Brando has created a slightly more quirky version of their own. The frame comes in the form of a retro style TV and does more than just show off your favorite family photos.
