Those of you that are serious about your exercise or are thinking of becoming serious might want to check out this Timex branded bundle. The Ironman Trail Runner and Body Link will make sure you not only stay healthy, but you stay on the right path as well. All around, it’s a great pair to get you started. Especially for those with New Year’s resolutions to be more healthy next year.

The Ironman watch can be your personal trainer, since it utilizes the Body Link and can measure your heart rate and keep track of your pace. It’ll calculate your current pace, your average pace and then your best. Then you can use the GPS to keep track of your location and where you’d like to end up. Unfortunately, the set isn’t exactly cheap. You can purchase them for $284 through Amazon.

I’ve seen various concept designs that have silent ways of waking up the user. This one is actually something you can purchase online. It is a bit bulky in comparison to the sleek concept designs, but at least it’ll allow you to wake up without waking anyone else up. It’d be especially great for brand new parents that don’t want their alarm clock to wake up the baby.

The device can either be strapped to your wrist or put underneath your pillow. Then when it’s that time to wake up the device will begin to vibrate until you wake up. You just shut it off like you normally would. You can also set it to beep instead for those occasions when you need a normal alarm clock. The clock display is a backlit LED display. You can normally purchase the clock for £14.99 or about $25 through Thumbs Up UK. Although right now it’s out of stock.

The SecureShot is a way for you to watch others, and it has an atomic clock.

I suppose you could call it a Nanny-cam, just like the one seen in Meet the Parents and The Nanny Diaries. Unlike the cameras put on stuffed animals, this one looks like an ordinary clock.

Assuming you think that an atomic clock is ordinary. Yes, this is one of those clocks that will always be accurate, and if the batteries run out, the clock will be back on time when they get replaced. Looks like it can also do the temperature as well.

As for the camera itself, it can sense body heat from 30 feet away, and then starts to film. It can shoot 20 hours of 640 x 480 video onto an inserted SD memory card. Hopefully, that is enough time to get the footage that you need. By the way, it can run for a year on the included Li-ion battery.

So for all you control freaks who need security camera footage with an always accurate timestamp should head over to the Marquis Security Cameras site and lay down $649. Hey, I didn’t say that this type of control would be cheap.

Most people have found themselves just glancing at their cellphone to find out the time, rather than actually wearing a watch of some kind. However, there are some who prefer not to carry their phone at work due to policies within the work place. Anyone who has ever been stuck in a boring meeting with the clock behind them knows what it’s like to truly wish for a subtle way to check the time. This Tempo Time Tag is small enough that it’ll slip under the radar and no one will ever know you’re anxiously glancing at the time.

The Tempo Tag has a clip that allows you to attach it to just about anything. Be it the cuff of your shirt or your pants pocket. With this you also won’t have to worry about ever acquiring that not so attractive watch tan line that tends to happen. Upon purchasing, you will receive a set of two clocks. It has one left and one right-handed tag. You can purchase them both for $18 through Vessel.

There are clocks that just tell the time in a way that anyone can understand. Then there are those other clocks that make you stop and stare for about 15 minutes. Then after staring for that long you storm off and find the person that purchased the confusing clock and force them to translate it for you. This is one of those clocks. Admittedly, it’s definitely cool, but it will probably still make everyone around you a touch on the crazy side.

The clock uses a bicycle chain to apparently emphasize the cyclical nature of time. Yes, it’s also one of those clocks that’s supposed to have a deeper meaning or something. We all know that clocks with a powerful meaning besides the time are going to cost more too. This clock with all of its rustic details will set you back $2,338 through Unica Home. All that money and you’ll still need help to tell the time.

I swear, CN did not pay me to write that, it really is. I bring this up because the animated reality show had an episode where each character had to face their greatest fears. For one character, Cody, it was disabling a bomb under pressure.

Cody would definitely not be the audience for the Sumo Canvas Clock Bomb, for he would be forced to look at a bomb that would tell the time. Just to let you know, the ticking clock counts down to nothing and there is no explosives set to go off at a certain time. It’s just there to show you the time that is ticking away second by horrific second.

There’s no real complex tech going on with this gadget. It’s just a photo of a bomb that has a real clock face. In all honesty, I am surprised that they did not use a digital clock with red numbers. After all, if there is one thing that movies and television has taught us, it’s that all bombs have little red numbers that tell us when they are about to go off.

I suppose if you are an evil genius, and you want to convey to your minions the value of time, then feel free to go over to RED5 website and pay $34 dollars for this.

Miniature LCD photo frames are nothing new, nor is a small portable alarm clock. However, the combination of the two could make going away from home a little easier. It’ll allow for you to have the comfort of using an alarm clock that you trust and keep pictures of your family with you. Of course it won’t help make your hotel bed more comfortable, but at least it’s something.

The photo frame will hold 30-80 pictures in it, all depending on the size of the pictures themselves. It has a built-in memory capacity of 4MB. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that you can plug a memory card into it to expand the amount of memory available. However, it’s forgivable since it is just a small photo frame. The alarm clock has the usual features that an alarm clock would, it’s nothing special. You can purchase the set for £19.95 or about $33 through MUJI.

Most clocks are just fine with merely playing the sounds of the ocean to lull you into a deep sleep. Well this Seiko clock takes things even further than that. Instead of just playing the sounds, it projects images of the ocean onto your bedroom wall. Of course, it does that along with the time, it is still a clock after all. It doesn’t just project a pretty picture on the wall either, the fish in the picture actually react to your touch.

It also has all of the usual functions like a clock and an alarm to wake up in the morning with. You get everything from normal fish that you’d see in the ocean, to cute dolphins. The gadget has 4 different display modes, as well as having 5 levels of volume settings, an AC adapter with a 2.5m cord, a touch sensor dome and an external projector. You can purchase the clock for $234 through the Japan Trend Shop. It won’t be shipping out until the 1st of December though.

When you’re traveling, it’s always a gamble relying on an alarm clock you’ve never used before. You could always set an alarm on your cellphone, but I’ve owned cellphones before that didn’t have the most reliable alarm clocks in them. Well now you can own a clock that is easy to set and you’d know is perfectly trustworthy. It’s also made for travel to make your life easier.

You can set the time and the alarm clock all by your voice. Just tell it what time you want it to set the alarm for and you’re all set for the next morning. It’d be nice if it detected swear words and automatically shut off when you started yelling at the alarm in the morning. However, it doesn’t take the voice detection quite that far. It also tells you the current temperature and has a few different alarm sounds to choose from. You can purchase the clock for $24.99 through Moshi Lifestyle.

I once worked at a place that required me to have an ID card. I had to swipe it just to prove that I had showed up to work, and I couldn’t even get through the front door without it. If I forgot my ID card, it was a big hassle to explain myself to human resources, not to mention the waiting for someone to open the door for me.

This is just one of the reasons why I don’t work for “the man”. I can just see “the man” of the future implementing mandatory Face Detecting Time Attendance System and Access Door Lock (CVJB-G107) at the workplace.

Essentially, this apparatus keeps track of your employees arrivals and departures with face-detection technology. It only takes a fraction of a second to scan the face, and the worker will be logged in for attendance, overtime, and even late employees. All that information can then be downloaded into a flash drive, and tallied up whenever paychecks come out. Don’t ask me how it can keep track of employees who go out for lunch.

Just so you know, the CVJB-G107 takes a 3D scan of the face. So if you are trying to fool it by holding out a picture of yourself in order to open the door, it won’t work.

If you have an office that would be improved by this tech, then you should be able to purchase it at the Chinavision site for about $480.00.

There are all types of spy gadgets out there, the trick is finding the one that blends in the most with your style. After all, if you have top of the line electronics everywhere, a cheap alarm clock is going to stand out. If you have very sparse college room type furniture then a tissue box holder with a camera in it is probably going to raise some eyebrows. Well this tiny clock is just one of the many ways you can spy on people while you’re away.

Some might find it a touch paranoid that you have video surveillance going on, but if it helps you sleep at night, then it’s worth the cash. This tiny camcorder is built into the clock and has a built-in rechargeable Li-Battery. That battery will work for up to 2 hours of continuous use. It has 4GB of built-in memory and then is able to use a USB flash drive. It hooks up to your computer to swap out data and charge through a USB cable. It has a switch on and off button that will kick on a light that only briefly twinkles to let you know it’s working. You can purchase the camera for $47 from Gadget Brando.

After all, we live in an age where people wake up at ungodly hours, go to demeaning jobs, come home to face family issues, and barely have time to wind down before they go to sleep. In short, we live in age where everyone is under stress. And if that doesn’t stress you out, then you don’t need the StressWatch.

As you can see from the pic, there is a black bar graph to show your stress levels. The blues and greens that you see there means that you are mellow, but pink, red or orange means you’re one stressed out fellow. I am going to assume that it reads your pulse, sweat from your wrist, or something.

Not only that, it can also tell the time. So that way you can get to your next appointment, so that you can always stay ahead and…I suppose that deadlines are the source of our stress, isn’t it? Just breathe deep and think calming thoughts to get back into the safe zone.

Well, this device is merely concept as now, but it deserves to be made reality. I could use a little reduced stress now.

Alright so this clock does look a touch different and it’s bound to get you some strange looks, but this has to be the most brilliant design I’ve seen lately. Digital bedside clocks are always designed to be easily readable when you’re sitting up looking squarely at the clock, which is ridiculous once you think about it. This clock is made so that you can easily read it while laying in bed on your side.

Plus this clock has the perk of being mounted to the wall, that in turn will free up space on your end table. It’d be especially great for those that don’t actually own an end table. The LED clock has all of your normal alarm functions, as well as being able to mount on the wall sideways. It’s made out of 5/8” walnut wood construction with brushed aluminum casing. You can purchase the Emily Alarm Clock for $129 from Generate, which admittedly is definitely pricey.

It uses LEDs that can wave in the air and somehow make words with specially timed flashing. I’m probably not doing a good job describing it, I know.

If you’ve seen this technology before, then you know what I’m talking about. It can usually be used as some kind of clock or to display pre-programmed messages.

Why use this type of technology for something practical, like displaying Instant Messages. It can connect to any Internet router and allow users to send messages via email or the product website.

Let’s hope that these are loving messages, because I don’t really look forward to receiving threatening messages written in red letters.

By the way, when the apparatus isn’t displaying messages, it can do other things, such as show the time and temperature. Don’t ask me how the thing knows the temperature, but if it is connected to the router, is there nothing that it cannot display?

Yes, this definitely looks like an item that I would want in my home. I actually believe that it is designed for people who travel, but hopefully you won’t have any trouble connecting it to the hotel router.

Anyway, you can get it now from the Innovatoys website for $119.95

For those of you that enjoy all that is steampunk, you’ll have a slight chance to get the clock shown here. It’s definitely a slim chance, but if you have the cash and hurry, you might be able to get your hands on one. Then you can tell everyone that you own a limited edition clock that practically no one else owns. It’s always fun to have something to make you superior, plus it’s also nice that it tells the time.

Let’s face it, you aren’t that excited over a clock. You’re likely more excited over something that’s steampunk that just happens to be a clock. As far as clocks go though, this one is pretty cool. The clock portion of it does have an alarm, plus it can show you the date. It’s made out of solid copper and polished brass. Of course you’ll have to hurry to get your hands on one since these are limited edition. There will only ever be a total of 10 of these in existence. You’ll also have to contact them to find out just how much this clock by Kev Stenning will cost you.

Everyone has things that they enjoy putting on the fridge. Be it school pictures or just random funny magnets, we all have our preferences. Well with this you could even have a clock on your fridge that you can map out your day with. It doesn’t itemize every little thing, but it does have little stick figure men that will illustrate each task you have ahead of you. It does so in such a humorous way that even the most obnoxious tasks will give you a little laugh.

I’m not sure what each individual magnet is supposed to mean, but you could always use your own interpretation. It would appear that some are more than a little odd. Some are things like yard work and working out, but I would swear one of those looks like a guy hanging himself. The clock was made by a Argentinean design studio, Designplus. The down side of that is that you can’t purchase the clock right now, but if it ever did get created it’d be perfect for Perpetual Kid.

Digital cameras are all the rage these days, and very rarely will you find anyone who would settle for an analog unless they’re from an artsy background or are a professional who wants the warmth of traditional film. The Roll Film Clock doesn’t capture any photos, but it does display the current time including hour, minute, second, date, month and year. Perfect for a unique and innovative home warming gift, the Roll Film Clock won’t really come cheap as it retails for $62 each.

If you have kids that are under the age of seven, then I’m sure you are quite familiar with SpongeBob Squarepants.

The man who lives in a pineapple under the sea celebrates his 10th anniversary this year, and if you missed the SpongeBob SpongeBash celebration on Nickelodeon, then you can get the SpongeBob themed watches from Nooka (not to be confused with a big cell phone company from Finland).

Yeah. That’s what you’re looking at in the photo there. I’m sure you’re probably thinking: “shouldn’t you put, I don’t know, SpongeBob on your SpongeBob watches?”

Well, apparently Nooka was not going for a literal SpongeBob merchandise with these. I was hoping to see SpongeBob bending over with ripped pants from one of my favorite episodes, but they were going for the “geometric nature of the SpongeBob character” rather than a literal print of SpongeBob, Patrick, Sandy, Squidward, or Mr. Krabbs.

Designs include the SpongeBob ZenV Alumnium Spongenvader, the SpongeBob Zub ZenH 20 Spongelevator, and the SpongeBob Zot Aluminum SpongeBamo. I’m not certain which is which in the photo, but the prices are, left to right, $275, $175, and $250. These are definitely not some cheap SpongeBob watches that you would find at your local Wal-Mart.

Man, I had a difficult time getting up this morning, and just had to sleep in. Something tells me I would have been completely awake if I had the Traffic Alarm Clock.

Yeah, we have reported on many strange alarm clocks at Coolest Gadgets, and has the startle factor of the Lifetone Bedside Fire Alarm Clock. However, this is the first alarm clock that I have seen with a 40mm speaker to wake the user up.

The user gets to choose between four sounds, and one of them is traffic noise. I’m not certain what the ones who live near traffic are going to do, because they are probably used to it by now.

Yeah, I don’t know what type of room this would really go well with. This would be furniture that Ty Pennington would use for his “special project” that he does on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

I can just see it: “Once I found out that little Johnny likes cars, I did his whole room with a theme of traffic lights”. I’ve always wondered how those themed rooms end up after the cameras have stopped rolling.

But I digress. If you want this traffic light, feel free to lay down $27 for it on the November 25.

There’s never a shortage of odd clocks on the internet. Yet, how many of those can you have a hand in the constructing process? Well this Ice Tube Clock gives you the opportunity to have a lot more involvement in the process of creating the clock. Instead of putting in your order and getting a shiny new clock all put together. You’ll pay money to order a clock you have to put together yourself. Which might appeal to those of you that like to learn what makes your clock work.

The clock is created using a Russian display tube and once put together does actually have all of the average alarm functions. Such as volume adjustment, a snooze button, the ability to display date and time as well as being able to choose between a 12h or 24h display. Before you decide to purchase the kit, you might want to consider that the clock does generate high voltage (40V on up to 70VDC). Which means they only recommend those that are experienced with electronics to tackle this kit. If you think you can handle it, you can purchase it for $70.
