iLuv ArtStation Stereo Speaker Dock

Now here is a dock will keep owners of the iPhone, iPad and iPod happy – the iMM727, or better known as the iLuv ArtStation Stereo Speaker Dock. Targeting iPad users mainly, this audio dock will be able to turn the iPad into the centerpiece of a home entertainment center. Of course, the iPhone and iPod touch would also fit into the scheme of things nicely as well, but with the larger real screen estate on the iPad, isn’t that the more logical (and obvious) choice?
The ArtStation will make sure that the iPad’s multimedia capabilities are brought to the fore, thanks to the iLuv patent pending jAuraŅ sound technology. You can further enhance its performance thanks to the free iLuv App that can be downloaded from the App Store, where it will go ahead and transform the iMM727 into an Internet Radio with more than 40,000 stations to choose from.
Expect to see the iLuv iMM727 arrive at the market sometime this month for $129.99 a pop. It does look sleek in nature, and hopefully it delivers all it promised.
Ballistic HC Case gives 5 layers of protection to the iPhone 4
You read this right, your iPhone 4 can have five layers of protection. That’s more than one layer per version of Apple’s phone! Just think, but the time the Ballistic HC comes out for the iPhone 5, the numbers will be even.
We have covered the Ballistic cases before, like the LS last Christmas prior to CES. Right now, I have one beside me that looks like the one in the picture, but it is all black.
Before I talk about it, check out the layers after the jump. It’s quite impressive.

Onkyo BD-SP809 THX Certified Blu-ray Disc player

Onkyo has a high end, BD-SP809 THX Certified Blu-ray Disc player for the masses that will bring an even greater clarity to your home entertainment system – especially for you folks who love keeping yourselves entertained in the comfort of your living room instead of spending your time jostling with others at the cinemas, trying to get a ticket to the latest movies. What’s the rush? Summer blockbusters are going to end up on Blu-ray eventually, and you can always watch those amazing action scenes in slow motion, pause the movie to take a leak – you name it. Delayed gratification’s the name of the game.
Back to Onkyo’s BD-SP809, it is capable of handling a wide range of disc media, apart from Blu-ray, it also does old school DVD (can’t believe I’m saying that since DVD technology isn’t exactly that old), while sporting sophisticated home-network functionality which supports video on demand (VOD).

Nox Audio Specialist and Scout Headphones
While I was at E3, I got a chance to see Nox Audio and their products. Their latest and greatest aren’t coming out until later, but I had a chance to try out the Scout and the Specialist.
The Scout is essentially a pair of earbuds that “sets the standard for audio performance”. The Scout allows for portable gaming, listening to music, as well as being able to manage calls with a touch of a button.
As for the Specialist, I have a picture of that after the jump. It is also designed for everything that the Scout is for, but it is the over-the-ear headphones. It has a volume control located at the ear that is essentially a big knob.

These big statue heads are stereo speakers
As much as I hated Batman and Robin, the 1997 film that was probably worse in quality than the original 1968 Batman film, I did admire it art direction. In Batman and Robin, the city of Gotham was re-envisioned as a city of giant towers, mixed with gigantic statues.
I had to admit that I liked that aesthetic of gigantic statues mixed with everyday architecture, and you can have it in your home with Richard Grant’s new stereo speakers.
Behind the eyes of these giant heads are the cones of the speaker, and I don’t know how loud of a sound that this delivers. I also don’t know what materials that they are made of, as sources about this item are pretty brief to say the least.

iPad speaker delivers sound the natural way

How many of you own a speaker system at home, be it hooked up to your home theater setup, or being connected to your desktop/notebook? Well, safe to say that for the majority of you out there, these speaker systems will need some sort of cable to connect to a power outlet, as that is where they derive the necessary power from to make louder whatever you’re listening to.
Not so with this unique speaker which is totally natural and passive in nature. To make matters more interesting this speaker will be compatible with Apple’s hot selling iPad tablet device, helping it keep up with the times. Designer YellowGlueBlues is behind these wooden, iPhone and iPad speaker docks, where they are totally natural – meaning you won’t find any electronics or batteries inside.

V-MODA announces V-80 on-ear headphones
V-MODA has announced its latest pair of V-80 on-ear headphones, which is part of the V-MODA for True Blood range that was developed in partnership with HBO. The V-80 not only looks great, it functions great (on paper) as well. Being a lightweight, high-fashion headphone which is poised to redefine the headphone industry, it fuses life-like 3D sound, timeless materials, ultimate durability and the unique ability to shapeshift its style.
Customization fans would definitely fall in love with the V-MODA V-80 right from the get go, as it offers a great deal of customization options – especially for True Blood fans as they can choose from a range of designs which showcase their fanatical passion for the show. There will be a couple of iconic V-MODA metal ear shields, located on either side of the ear cushions, where these can easily be switched out so that you can show off other popular images and icons from the show – ranging from the night club, Fangtasia, to the Japanese symbols featured on the Tru Blood beverage.
Heck, you can even opt for your blood type after choosing to etch your name into temporary immortality (ironic, I know, but that’s what it actually is when you laser etch your blood type onto the metal ear shields, no?). Active fans will be able to enjoy using the V-80 without worrying about its ruggedness, as said headphones were specially built to pass the MIL-STD-810G military standard guidelines.
