Nintendo Wii plays music too!

The Nintendo Wii isn’t about to be left behind in terms of all round entertainment. While most of us would associate the Wii with some sort of arm flailing action in the living room (more fun when you’ve had a couple of beers IMHO), MP3tunes has taken a different step by allowing Wii owners to use the device’s controller to wirelessly stream their personal music collection from their own Music Lockers. Tracks are all stored in the MP3tunes Music Lockers which incidentally, can also be played on the PS3, a range of Windows Mobile devices and Internet radios among others, courtesy of MP3tunes’ open API.

Get a hi-tech rearview mirror for your bike

I used to do a lot of biking when I was younger. I grew up in a relatively small town, and it was just as easy to get around on your bike as in your car. So as long as it was warm, I would save the gas and pedal my way around the city. The only incident that I ever had was when I was riding on the outskirts of town and someone drove up behind me and became impatient with my speed and proceeded to run me off the road. I ended up face-down in a culvert, which is no fun at all. Had I been able to see behind me properly, that might not have turned out so bad. Those boring old rearview mirrors never seem to work very well, however, I would have taken this gadget in a heartbeat.

Portable DVD duplication for pirates on the go
I know mobility is the hallmark of any cool gadget, but a mobile DVD duplicator? Why not, I guess. The EZ Dupe Ultra Slim Single-Target Portable DVD Duplicator touts itself as “world’s first Ultra Slim Portable DVD/CD Lightscribe Duplicator.”
The RIAA is going to love this.

iPods are meant to be enjoyed anywhere, but what happens when you’re stuck in an airplane seat (no Business Class for you)? The iPod Travel Pillow makes it much easier on your neck in a long haul flight.
Think you can’t relax in an airplane seat? This two-way pillow makes it possible! As it supports your neck, its built-in speakers let you enjoy your favorite iPod® tunes or the audio from your DVD player—in stereo!
This nifty little device retails for $24.95. I wonder if Santa could make do with one of these considering the distance he had to travel all night long.
180s JVC Earwarmer Headphones

Seems like every time I’m listening to music, my ears get cold. Normally I remedy this problem by turning up the music, but I’m told this could be harmful.
What I really need is something that can just warm my ears without the side effect of deafness. Fortunately, JVC has got me covered with the 180s Earwarmer Headphones. Well, they got my ears covered at least.
Basically, it is a pair of earphones that work with any MP3 player, CD player, or other portable audio device. They have some earwarmer technology that uses an outer shell and insulation to block wind and shed rain and snow and yet still retain heat. It makes them essentially a high tech piece of earmuffs.

Relaxview BV

Hey, want to make that trip to the dentist a little less painful? Maybe if you were wearing one of these relaxView BV, you would be a little more cut off from the real world of pain.
I’m not certain if this viewer is anything different than other viewers such as the myvu or the iWear, but this one is hooked up to a DVD player and I’m told it can replicate a 60 inch screen.
I believe the reason this is supposed to work is that it completely blocks off the real world. Therefore, the big distraction is supposed to take away from the little distractions such as the needles and gloved fingers, you know. You know, out of sight, out of mind. If you don’t know the dentist is about to shove a needle the size of a pitchfork into your gums, then the painkiller will actually live up to its name.
