
I don’t know if most people still listen to radio often, I’m not talking about the kind of radio one listens by using the car audio system, what I’m referring to is a normal radio device to be used and listened at home.
Well, let me tell you that I listen to plenty of radio because most of the times I get bored with the same old music I got and want to listen to a human voice interacting with the listeners (me), I prefer the late night shows at 3 and 4 of the morning in which one can send emails (or make phone calls) and believe it or not, after some time you really get to know the radio people working at these extraordinary hours.
But anyway, what I really want to speak about is a Sony radio that features uncommon bands like LW, MW and SW, it is the Sony ICF-SW100S that is considered a World Band Radio - of course it also features the normal FM band. Read the rest of this entry »

To say I’m not a fan of beanies (them dumb looking woolly hats) is probably putting it a bit mildly (I can look stupid without wearing a hat that fits my head like a condom thank you very much), so when I saw these at CES I was suitably unimpressed, the beanie with built-in headphones.

I generally walk out of a pub when I see a sign saying “Karaoke Tonight” (though I did participate and embarrass my daughter on holiday by shouting along to “I did it my way” (which seemed kind of appropriate)). Anyway you can now “enjoy” Karaoke with your favourite music player thanks to the the iKaraoke for your iPod.
The folks at Jabra are being nice to us. They’re trying to make our lives easier.
