Vestalife Ladybug Speaker and iPod dock

It’s easy to see how the Vestalife Ladybug Speaker dock for the iPod obtained its name. As you can see, the speakers fold out in a very aesthetically pleasing way, not unlike a real ladybug.
What you can’t see in the photo is the built-in three inch subwoofer that is installed on the other side. I found that it gave a lot better sound that most iPod docks, who usually opt for only two speakers and assume that they have done enough.

Atlantic EGO iceBar2 Waterproof Speaker System for iPods

I believe that our Apple iPods are built to be durable, but they are not that durable. I’ve heard that thousands of cell phones are dropped into toilets everyday, so you can imagine that iPod’s are just as vulnerable. I don’t have a stat about how many iPods get flushed each day, but I imagine a nano would actually make it all the way to the ocean.
The iceBar2 is designed specifically to keep an iPod nano safe from water damage in any situation. Okay, not any situation, but up to three meters of water.
This iceBar2 Speaker System is a waterproof and shatterproof case which can protect the iPod from not only dust and scratches, and that wet foe: water.

SE2 Brings you "The One"
SE2 labs think that high-end custom installs are getting too complicated. If you go it alone you’ve got a bewildering array of choices when it comes to amplifiers, video processors, projectors, sound sources etc and that’s before you’ve tried to make them all talk to each other.
So they’ve done the hard work for you. Take a large box that wouldn’t be out of place in a high-tech computer room. Fill it full of best-of-breed technology (Bryston amplifiers, high def TiVo etc). Make a customised interface to control it all and Voila, you get "The One".
The full list of toys is too long to repeat and includes mechanical as well as electronic devices. Think power conditioners, cable management, anti-vibration systems, your choice of game console, media center PC… the list is endless.
It looks great, it costs $24K and it has a space for you to plug in your iPod. What are you waiting for?
Belkin RockStar Lets You Share Music With Friends
I should rephrase that – you can share what you’re listening to with five friends.

The Continue reading » Belkin RockStar is a handy star-shaped minijack hub to which multiple headphones can be connected, allowing one music player to send music to up to five pairs of headphones. The RockStar offers six ports—one input and five outputs—so you can split one signal to many sources. It’s also cool because the five outputs can be toggled to input as well, so you can mix more than one signal together and output to one source. Could be handy for some awesome mixing. Increase iPhone battery with Morphie
We’ve seen the cool commercials showing users moving their touchscreen iPod or iPhone through a battery of movies to watch on the widescreen. But with the average battery time of that widescreen iPod or iPhone hovering under two hours, users can’t even enjoy an entire feature before their iPod dies leaving the user hanging on the ending of a good popcorn movie. Enter the Morphie.

Bean Bag chairs get geeky thanks to hi tech upgrades
Since the late 60s and early 70s college students looking for affordable dorm furniture have always had the bean bag chair to turn to. A big sack filled with beans that could be tossed anywyere was quite the rage with the hippy generation. Then there was a lull for about twenty years, but a huge comeback in the 90s when using shredded polyurethane foam pellets made the bean bag chair even more affordable and allowed for more innovation in the form of larger furniture concepts. Well, now the bean bag chair is gone hi-tech with the iBean. Of course it has, isn’t that the law when using an “i” in front of a product name?
The iBean Bag chair comes with front dual speakers and a sub woofer for a surround sound experience. It’s compatible with any mp3 player, electronic gaming device, dvd player or laptop computer and headphone jacks allow for easy plugin of most models. There’s also an easy to reach side control panel to adjust boeth volume and bass levels. The iBean comes in fourt different colors: red, black, navy blue and turquoise and costs a very affordable $99, with optional ottoman sold separately.
Cool man.

iPods are meant to be enjoyed anywhere, but what happens when you’re stuck in an airplane seat (no Business Class for you)? The iPod Travel Pillow makes it much easier on your neck in a long haul flight.
Think you can’t relax in an airplane seat? This two-way pillow makes it possible! As it supports your neck, its built-in speakers let you enjoy your favorite iPod® tunes or the audio from your DVD player—in stereo!
This nifty little device retails for $24.95. I wonder if Santa could make do with one of these considering the distance he had to travel all night long.
Mustek Digital Picture Frames: Big and Small
Since digital picture frames are quite the hit for this year’s Christmas season, it stands to reason that more companies are putting out quite a few, in all varieties.
Such is the case of Mustek. One of their newest models is the PF-i700, a very cool digital frame made for the iPod. All you need to do is just plug it in, and you’ll be seeing your favorite pictures for the iPod on a 7-inch LCD panel. The screen is also a 16 x 9 aspect ratio with a low resolution 480 x 234 screen.
Details on the PF-i700 are a little sketchy, but I would think that Mustek would put some speakers or headphone jack in there. I mean, why not put in music if you can do pictures?
Anyway, the PF-i700 will be available in March. However, there is a tiny picture frame that is available now called the PF-L100. This one doesn’t even have a screen that is 1 inch, but is a simple keychain that plugs into the USB.
