All firmware versions get iPhone unlock solution

by Edwin

iphone-unlock.jpgIf you happen to own a brand new iPhone (or are a seasoned iPhoner by now) and want to unlock your handset, I bring you good news. There is now a brand new iPhone unlock solution that works on all firmware versions, allowing you unprecedented freedom on your iPhone as never before without being shackled to AT&T’s contract. This revolutionary unlock software will work with all firmware versions from 1.0.0 till the current 1.1.3 version. Another wonderful aspect about this software is its compatibility with iPhones all over the world, so you don’t have to worry whether you’re in Africa or in Asia – as long as you have an iPhone in your possession, you will be able to use it freely without having fears or worries about turning it into an expensive (albeit good looking) brick.

Turn your iPod dock into a set of Bluetooth speakers

by Chris

intempo BTA-01

There are literally hundreds, if not thousands of iPod docks on the market. From looking at all of these, one would almost assume that everyone in the world owned an iPod. We all know that’s not the case, and those that don’t have a desire for Apple’s music player sometimes feel a bit left out. Well those of you without iPods can thank intempo for giving you the option to use any iPod speaker dock with a variety of other mobile devices.

Apple Adds 32GB Model to the iPod Touch Line

by Carolyn

ipodtouch.jpgIn a move that surprised many technology insiders, Apple has released new and upgraded versions of two products today: the iPhone (in my previous report) and the iPod Touch.

The iPod Touch gets a new 32GB version to go along with the 8GB and 16GB models. From the Apple press release (edited for only the iPod Touch information):

Apple today added new models of the iPhone and iPod Touch which have double the memory, doubling the amount of music, photos and videos that customers can carry with them wherever they go. iPod touch now comes in a 32GB model for $499, joining the 16GB model for $399 and the 8GB model for $299. Swap music between iPods with miShare

by Chris

miShare
Have you ever hung out with someone discussing music, when you both realize that you each have songs the other want? If you’re not near a computer, then there’s really no good way to share your music. However, with the miShare you can just hook up your iPods and swap tracks to your heart’s content.

The miShare is a simple little device with two 30-pin dock connectors that will work with most iPods 3G and up (unfortunately not the iPod Touch or iPhone). Connect both iPods and press the button to transfer the last song (or video) played. Hold down the button and your entire ‘On-The-Go’ playlist gets copied.

NavDock A Great Alternative to AppleTV

by Carolyn

Yes, we’re all still coming down from the Macworld announcements high and now we’re looking at the cold, hard reality of what we really got from this year’s Macworld. Take the AppleTV, for instance. Sure, you can use your iPod and navigate music and videos and even rent movies through it. It’s still quite expensive for not having any DVR capabilities or the ability to read media on a disc.

navdock-zoom.jpg

There’s a great alternative that you can use on your television to watch your videos and music from your iPod. The Tekkeon NavDock is (according to the official website) “a Home Media Center with On-TV Navigation for iPod.” The NavDock “lets you navigate your iPod through an on-TV menu to play videos, photos and music on a connected television.”

The NavDock also supports the following models of the iPod: Continue reading » NavDock A Great Alternative to AppleTV

Army iPod Translator coming to Civilian World

by James

VCom Mobile

In Star Trek, they use the Universal Translator. It’s a cool gadget which allows our favorite characters to talk to other species without having to wait for a translation. Life has been imitating art in Iraq as troops at checkpoints have been using iPods equipped with a kind of universal translator to speak in Arabic to Iraqis while on mission.
