Withings is certainly no stranger when it comes to smart devices and various items that will help make life easier around the home, and this time around, it has placed its crosshairs on the connected health market by unveiling the Steel HR Sport. The Steel HR Sport from Withings is best described as a multisport hybrid smartwatch, where it offers a slew of functions such as heart rate monitoring, connected GPS tracking and Fitness Level analytics. To cap it all off, you will be able to enjoy an unprecedented 25-day battery life that is certainly unheard of for a device of this nature.

Through the incorporation of advanced sport and health tracking capabilities, the Steel HR Sport comes across as a perfect example of how Withings has remained close to its objective of helping you and I better manage our health. Sporting the proud tradition of having a premium design that has been blended with smart health and sport features for analytics, it comes in 316L stainless steel and a 40mm case. This is a water resistant watch of up to 50M (5ATM), and will be available in both white and black face variants.

It does not matter whether you are wearing this in a social setting or simply using it as your primary sports timepiece, the Steel HR Sport is able to hold its own in terms of looks and performance either way. The analog face of Steel HR will tell the time, while a sub-dial shows the percentage of daily activity goals achieved. You will use the Health Mate app to set and manage the goals, while its discrete OLED display shows off important health and sports data including daily steps, calories, distance and heart rate. All of these can be easily accessed with a simple push of a button, while the display also shows off various smartphone notifications that appear automatically alongside with a discreet vibration.

The asking price of the Withings Steel HR Sport stands at $199.95 apiece, and will work great with both iOS and Android platforms.
