Geneinnos reveals the Poseidon drone for underwater usage

by

When it comes to drones, there are many different kinds of models that have made their mark in the market, ranging from the relatively affordable ones that are small enough to fit into the palm of your hand, to large sized ones which get the job done in a professional manner. Regardless, most of the drones that we have taken a look at in the past have always dealt with shooting video from above. Here is something different, where one will be able to see things from a different angle. Fancy a drone that gets the job done, but from a perspective that is underwater? Enter the Poseidon drone from Geneinno, which will debut at CES 2018.

The Poseidon is a cutting edge underwater drone camera, where it will definitely do its part to assist snorkelers in exploring treasures while underwater. Geneinno is an old hand at dealing with devices that help with underwater exploration, incorporating creativity and research into the mix using intelligent robots and powerful underwater drones.

The Poseidon I will boast of its fair share of special features that will certainly get people all excited about what an underwater drone is capable of. Featuring a deep sea exploration capability of 120 meters under the water, it will also be equipped with integrated rechargeable lithium batteries that provide up to 5 hours of uninterrupted underwater exploration experience. Not only that, it is also able to deliver an unprecedented degree of connectivity when it comes to Wi-Fi topside units. In addition, Poseidon has a unique trick up its sleeve, it is expandable and easy to upgrade so that in the future, more updated add-ons and modules will augment its operational capability. With a speed of up to 2 meters per second underwater, this is a swift drone by any standards.

Definitely one of the more exciting drones to check out on the CES showfloor this year, that is for sure!
