by – on July 7th, 2017

We cannot be everywhere at once, and there are times when we would need to keep an eye on what’s going on at home but the demands of work require our presence elsewhere. What then, can we do? Some of us might be forced to take a day off, but Honeywell has a great idea. How about making sure that a security camera is able to get the job done? Enter the Lyric C1 Wi-Fi security camera.

Honeywell, a leader in home comfort and security, will now allow consumers to check out the Lyric C1 Wi-Fi security camera that should be able to find a place in just about any and every home. DIY enthusiasts would also love the idea of the Honeywell Lyric C1 for one simple reason — it is a snap to configure and set up, turning it into an essential tool in any home that needs to have an extra pair of (digital) eyes.

With the Lyric app that runs on your mobile device, the compact Lyric C1 will take just a few steps to set up. All that you have to do is to have it stand on a flat surface using its adjustable magnetic base, or to have it mounted to a wall, allowing the Lyric C1 to be able to adapt to just about any room. It is able to capture video in High Definition resolution at 30fps in normal lighting, and when it comes to darker environments, there is always built-in night vision capability that will kick in. Thanks to a wide viewing angle of 135 degrees, the Lyric C1 is able to offer more than just a good view, all without requiring it to pan or tilt.

Not only that, the C1 can detect motion or hear audio and send an alert directly to your mobile device via the Lyric app in addition to an email alert to the registered account. You can even carry out a two-way conversation thanks to the integrated speaker, letting you tell your pet off, or send a vocal reminder to someone in the room. The Lyric C1 Wi-Fi Security Camera will retail for $119 apiece.
