The Dreamfarm Spadle just wants to make you happy
When you’re cooking a meal, you want to try and use the least amount of utensils, pots, and pans possible so that cleanup won’t be as much of a chore. Of course, there are some things that you can’t really compromise on. You can’t use a spatula to serve soup, and it’s hard to cook meat or veggies with a ladle. This alone means two utensils, and usually a pan and pot as well.
If your unwillingness to wash dishes is strong enough, then why not get two-in-one kitchen tools to cut down on your workload? This Dreamfarm Spadle is both a spoon and a ladle, but with the addition of a flat silicone front tip for scraping the bottom of the pan or pot. You could do cooking, stirring, and serving with one utensil, and your family or guests would be none the wiser. The head can hold about a half cup of whatever you’re cooking up, and has 1/4th cup, teaspoon, and tablespoon measurements inside the spoon to lessen your dish load further.
The only effort needed from you is a half twist on the Spadle’s joint to open it for easier cleaning. Best of all, this can be tossed in the dishwasher, so you don’t need to scrub. This is a $19.95 purchase that sounds like it will be one of the better kitchen gizmos you get. The only catch is not knowing the durability of the joint which you twist to go between functionality options and for cleaning.
