Kevo is a new generation smart lock


Three years back, Kwikset released its very own take on the humble door lock — except that the Kevo smart lock back then had some bit of electronics in it, which granted it the moniker “smart”. Well, fast forward to today, and we have a new generation smart lock from Kwikset which will retain its name, the Kevo, except that we do know it is in the second generation model now.

This second generation Kevo Touch-to-Open smart lock is now ready to be purchased, and comes with the proud claim that it is the best smart lock option available on the market today. It will feature the similar trusted touch-to-open smart lock experience that can be found in its predecessor, resulting in a refined user experience, sleeker design and added security.

Not only that, the Kevo 2nd Gen which is the only smart lock that delivers touch-to-open convenience, enabling homeowners to lock or unlock the door with the touch of a finger. This does away with the need to fumble for keys, and apart from that, the Kevo 2nd Gen has also been designed to deliver the ultimate user experience. This offers an intuitive installation experience, with the inclusion of a sleek metal interior housing, in addition to Kwikset’s patented advanced SmartKey security that will provide added peace of mind for homeowners.
