LG targets US with new UltraWide monitors
When it comes to consumer electronics, the South Korean giant LG is certainly a major player, and in the computing scene, they do have their fair share of releases in the past that have aided the office drone to maintain productivity while looking good. This time around, LG has decided to target the US market specifically with their new collection of innovative UltraWide monitors.
One of the new monitors in the lineup would be the largest 21:9 UltraWide monitor in the world, not to mention the first 144Hz IPS 21:9 UltraWide gaming monitor. Now how about that when it comes to exclusivity and bragging rights the next time you host a BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) event in your home?
In total, there will be three new 21:9 UltraWide monitors that are headed for the US. The 38-inch UltraWide curved monitor (model 38UC99), 144Hz IPS 21:9 Curved UltraWide gaming monitor (34UC79G) and 34-inch UltraWide flat monitor (model 34UM79M) will all boast of significant advances in display innovation, arriving with their fair share of advanced features which LG’s 21:9 UltraWide monitors have become well known for, including the likes of wide field of view, vivid color rendering and enhanced user convenience.
Delivering enough visual real estate that your eyes would kill for, the 38UC99 UltraWide curved monitor is perfect when it comes to tasks that require extensive attention to detail — this includes visual content creators, data crunchers and other multitasking professionals. Not only that, its advanced In-Plane-Switching (IPS) UltraWide Quad HD+ (3840 x 1600) resolution and wide color gamut ensures that 99 percent of the sRGB color space is covered, and you get crystal clear immersive picture quality, along with a number of enhanced convenience features for an unparalleled user experience.
All in all, the 38-inch UltraWide Curved Monitor (model 38UC99) will retail for $1,499, while the 34-inch 144Hz IPS 21:9 Curved UltraWide Gaming Monitor (model 34UC79G) will arrive in the middle of October for $699. Last but not least, the $599 34-inch UltraWide Flat Monitor (model 34UM79M): $599 is set for a mid-November debut.
