E FUN Nextbook 10.1 2-in-1 Tablet targets students

Going to school a few decades ago meant this — lugging your own collection of books and placing what you need in the locker and bringing home the rest in a bag, not to mention performing handwritten homework. To use a typewriter is sacrilegious, to say the least. Fast forward to today’s children, who grew up with the Internet and had everything wired or wireless. A computer would be embraced, and they would certainly type a whole lot more than just write, so would a tablet enhance their schooling experience? Very much so, it seems. Enter the E FUN Nextbook 10.1 2-in-1 tablet that claims to be ideal for classwork and extracurricular activities.

For starters, this E FUN Nextbook 10.1 2-in-1 tablet will sport a detachable keyboard with standard USB port, transforming it into a convenient laptop as and when required. Specially meant to see students through the day since it is ideal for use in classroom and extracurricular activities, where the latter includes the likes of video streaming, listening to music, and gaming.

Hardware specifications for the E FUN Nextbook 10.1 2-in-1 tablet include a 10.1″ high-definition multi-touch screen, up to 160GB of combined internal and external storage capability, integrated Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity options, and front and rear-facing 2MP cameras. In terms of software, do expect the Nextbook 10.1 tablet to arrive with Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office Mobile, which will comprise of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint apps, not to mention access to OneDrive or Dropbox storage.

You will find 32GB of internal memory suitable where a first tablet is concerned, and one can also expand that capacity further thanks to a microSD memory card — up to 128GB, it seems. The presence of a micro HDMI port also enables content to be displayed on a larger screen or other devices as and when required. We do wonder whether it is rugged enough to handle the everyday rigors of student use though. The E FUN Nextbook 10.1 tablet with detachable keyboard will come with an asking price of $179.99.
