Asus unleashes the ZenFone 3 Ultra

It looks like having a high end handset itself is not enough these days, and there needs to be something more. For instance, the Samsung Galaxy S6 when it was first revealed last year proved to be a pretty worthy flagship device, except that there was the little issue with the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, which well, provides an alternative device over the flagship model, and at the end of the day, that proved to be the model which has an edge, pardon the pun, over its main model in terms of market share. Asus too, has followed in such footsteps, unveiling the Asus ZenFone 3 but not forgetting to provide an alternative in the form of the Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra.

First of all, the ZenFone 3 Ultra from Asus happens to be a smartphone that has been specially designed for multimedia lovers, where it boasts of a 6.8” Full HD (1920 by 1080) display with a 95% NTSC color gamut for rich, vibrant images – even if you happen to be outdoors in harsh lighting. It is also proud to be the first smartphone in the world to come with the Asus-exclusive Tru2Life+ Video technology, where it will harness a high-end 4K UHD TV-grade image processor in order to optimize every pixel in each frame before it is displayed, which claims to result in superior contrast and clarity.

Your ears will also find the ZenFone 3 Ultra to be amazing, as it comes with a pair of new powerful five-magnet stereo speakers and a NXP smart amplifier, delivering clear, defined sound and protects the speakers from damage. With certified headphones, users can enjoy Hi-Res Audio (HRA) that provides up to four-times-better sound quality than CDs and the world’s first smartphone with virtual 7.1-channel surround sound with DTS Headphone:X.

Other hardware specifications include a high-resolution 23MP camera with ASUS TriTech autofocus system, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor, Adreno 510 graphics, and up to 4GB of RAM. For security purposes, a built-in fingerprint sensor is placed on the front of the phone beneath the user’s finger and unlocks the phone in just a fraction of a second. Looks to be a keeper, this.
